Please help my ladies...Temp & Ventilation issues with garage grow....

My main problem is high temps & lack of ventilation. The only place I can grow is in the back corner of my garage. There are no windows and no central air. I live in the SouthEast & it is H O T....plant level temps have been ranging 86-95 and would easily be over 100 if I wasn't using fans.

My grow space is 2'x3'x5', walls are lined with mylar, have 6 42 watt cfls in this space, growing 3 plants (1 each of Greenhouse cheese, purple lady & Super Lemon Haze). Originally I was using only 3 cfls & had the area all enclosed with the only opening a 6"x12" opening in the top right of the area which opens up into the garage. I had a 8" fan on the bottom blowing on the lights & a small massey fan at the top blowing towards the opening. When I added the additional 3 cfls temps went up approx 5 degrees, so now what I have done is removed one of the walls and have a box fan blowing directly on the plants and lights and still the small fan at the top. Right now I can only have the box fan on 1 of 3 strength because settings 2 & 3 beat the hell out of the small plants (only 15 days old)

So with my grow against the wall (literally) any suggestions on the temperature control? How should I place my fans around/within this space, I have the box fan, the little guy & the 8" Holmes. Can a small plant get too much wind? I know turning box fan up will help eventually, but the little ladies just look too fragile to have any more direct air. Right now I am in veg stage & have lights on 24-7....Once I go into flower I am going to run lights at night and I know this will help temps as well. I just know that I am so far from desired temp range that I am worried I won't make it that far.

My other concern is ventilation. Like I said no windows. Right now there is no odor, so I have been trying to open the garage door for 1-2 hours a day to try and get some kind of fresh air to the plants, but am not sure if this is doing any good, anyone know? When opening the garage door, should I have a fan blowing air in? or out?

Def + REP to anyone who can help me save my ladies.....

dude you need air exchange
fan sucking air in
fan sucking air out
big fans that suck air from outside and a fan that sucks air back outside

Decent ventilation will make your temps drop dramatically.
When I mean decent ventilation. I mean you need fresh air coming in
and you need that fresh air exhausted completely out of your grow area.
A bunch of box fans is actually doing more harm than good.
Your basically blowing hot air on your plants.
Think of it this way:
Your sitting in a house with no AC. and you want it to be cooler.
Some people would just sit in front of a fan to feel cooler.
But if you would open a window in the direction where wind blows in, and open another window at the opposite side.
The entire house would cool down.

You need to exhaust your grow area.
Get yourself a blower and attach it on the wall to blow outside.
If your grow area is enclosed from the rest of the garage, then attach the blower on the wall near your plants.
You could probably get away with only buying a 265cfm blower.
They only run about a $100.

Thanks for the advice...I actually just realized yesterday that the air blowing from the fan onto the plants is warm...

I know my grow wasn't designed properly, growing in such a hot place at such a hot time of year.....I know venting to the outside would be better, but that isn't really an option for me right now, so I keep searching if there is anything I can do in my less than ideal situation.....plus it is just as hot outside as it is in the garage ---->96 degrees currently outside & inside the garage

if you can't afford proper ventilation try ice buckets. sounds kinda dumb but i'm australian so i know all about heat lol

if you put an ice bucket in front of your fans it'll obviously blow cooler air, plus you can reuse the water when it melts by refreezing overnight and starting again. it's super high maintainence but it's cheap
