Where do i get a cheap light setup???

The bulbs are huge. I'll be posting pics of mysetup in a few hours. Please check it out and see what u think. It's my first grow and I'm actually just about to flower soon so any light fixture changes I make would be perfect oppurtunity when I switch to flower spectrum.

You can tie a zip tie around the connecters and the powerstrip! You could use a good piece of wood (with no bugs on it!!!) and get some chains and hooks for cheap. I got a pair of heavy duty screw in hooks for 88 cents at lowes and 10 ft of chain for 6 bucks. Thats works and it's cheap and very adjustable for your plants needs!!

2700k for flowring. Keep the bulbs as close as possible with cfls too. The light doesn't penetrate as well as other grow lights so buds don't get so dense. Keep the temps real cool during the off hours too. It got me frosty stuff.

Def. 2700k for flower and 6500k for veg. and get a couple fans if ya can cause air flow is critical with our favorite plant especially during flowering cause the buds stay wet and can mold without air movement.

Cooler temps not an issue with me. My room is in my basement. I built a box that 4" tall x 4" wide x 3.5 deep and have 1" legs underneath it so it's not on cold concrete. My concern is actually gonna be how to warm it some come winter. I already got a water heater in my reservoir and have the box insulated with extruded foam very well. Hoping for the best!! Like I said pics in a few hours in my thread. Please stop by n comment if u got time.

Lower the amounts of nitrogen before enducing flowering & high amounts of phosphorous for flowering nutes.

Personally I give a flush inbetween the transition from nitrogen to phosphorous nutes.

ive tryed the cfl thing ive used a 5000k cfl and a 2700 cfl and they dident seem to take off i would have prolly had to use 2 2700k and one 5000k which in turn id need some lamps to put the bulbs in but what is the best kind to buy for cfls without cause of fire worry i dont want to start one of those

They are all fine dude if they are UL certified which they all are then you have nothing to worry about!!! Good luck

I actually went a cheaper route then buying all the powerstrips and adaptors cause I got high one day and wanted to use some powertools! (Am I the only one this dumb?? Hope not cause it's fun and I'm careful!) anyways I built a hanging frame outta wood with holes bored into it for a lamp socket in three places. I wired all the lamp sockets so it only uses one plug then added V splitters to each one so I got a fixture that holds 6 any size cfls and it holds them sideways so the most effective part of the bulb is used. I'll add pics after work! Yes I browse RIU at work on my iPhone! What else am I supposed to do? Work? Ha!
