Male or Female?

Ok, my plant will be 3 weeks old tomorrow (8/23). In a few places, petrusions showed up, I know it's the first sign of sex. But is it male of female? I think it's undifferentiated, pictures up close aren't that great, I'm gonna try and get better pics. Can you tell (unreliably) by the way my plants branches and main stem look? Thank you!

Give it a little more time. It looks great tho... Just remember that male pre-flowers show on a plant earlier than a female. Good Luck!!!!

Don't remember anything of the sort, because it's absolutely false. I've had a female show it's sex in 2 days when it took the males a week or more.

Also, you obviously don't know as much as you think you know, OP, because what those pictures are of are not indications of sex AT ALL. Every cannabis plant has those regardless of sex.

I'm not speaking of the two pointy parts that are on every node, theres a small ball, but when you zoom in its like a ball/hook it kinda looks like both male and female at this point. BTW plant is still in 18/6.

It ususally takes 4-6 from seed to show sex (unless you do 12/12 from seed).

Let's see the pic. Some strains show earlier than others. Hell some plants show earlier than others.

mine showed within a week of flower well the males did.. four males outta six plants that sucked, there was a hermi in the mix 2..

Yeah I just had to chop a hermie last week. Arrgh!!!!

It's still way to early to tell. Be patient, give em another 2 weeks. Pre flower signs vary on strain and growing conditions and isn't always a sure way to tell sex, they can surprise you sometimes

If you don't breed your own fem seeds or buy store seeds, cuttings are the way to go. I haven't popped a seed since my first grow

IMO if you get the long white hairs(2) -thats a female. Once you have seen these (2) hairs ,youll know what Im talking about.Check for pics on internet. If its sacs or balls without the long white hairs -its male (once you know its male -get rid of it soon,they can open in like hours) I guess the female might have one sac for a little while at first ,which causes confusion

I know all the basics, I've grown before, quite a few times actually, only harvested once though, large harvest off one plant in the AG. Cuttings I've never done, but they are the way to go. You need a HumiDome I heard though, and I just plain don't feel like investing maybe my mind will change, however I'll be more than happy to get some rooting gel.
