Hey i am actually drying now. I was wondering is it ok to turn the lights on in the room (how long) i am drying in? do i have to keep all light to a minimum or just direct sunlight? all answers are appreciated

The reason you keep the lights off is to prevent mold and microorganisms from developing on your buds.. so try to keep it to a minimum..

Light breaks down THC .. that is why they say dry in the dark …. if you have to turn on the lights keep it to a minimum and hope for the best.

What would be some good curing methods? i didn't work this hard for the bud to taste grassy and harsh. thanks for all the replies so far.

Light will degrade THC any time it hits it .. even while plants grow.

The less light you have while drying and curing the better it is because unlike while growing the herb cannot replace the degraded THC while drying or curing so its just lost forever.
