Question:Trimming my plant

Alright so i'm in about the third week of flowering. i have buds and things are looking good. My only question is that now my plants are really dam tall and the leaves at the very bottom of the plant are kind of getting droopy. In this case is it better to cut off these leaves and trim the plant? These fan leaves don't have buds on them obviously. Please help me, thank you.

Well congrats.

Yea it is real cool when they start changing.
I look at it this way, If the lower leaf is half dead cut it off.
It's not helping anymore.

You don't want to prune anything up top.
They will slow down and fatten out now.

alright thanks. yeah i figured they don't have any real purpose down there dying. the tops are just getting to thick. this is my first grow so i just wanted to make sure it was okay before i decided to cut them off.
