Robot Ninja's 2nd Grow - Blackberry Kush (600w/Aeroponic/SCRoG)

Never had purple kush, but had grand daddy purps... Wasn't impressed. Tryed a sampled of this Blackberry Kush and just about passed out for 3 hours! Screw Ambien when u got some BBK.

Try both, maybe do a side by side comparison? If you can get ur hands on some legit BBK, grow it man. Trust me, one of my top fav smokes (I suffer from Insomnia though).

I always get purple Kush .. is one of my favorites .. cuz i have back pain .. helps me with the pain and knocks you on your ass .. but BBK is koo i liked it.. I only smoke kush.. thats what i get most of the time.. but yea .. either a clone of BBK,PK or OG Kush.. i wanna cross it with bubble Gum ... make my own seeds... see how that goes... loving your set up keep it going & GL on your grow.. I will be watching :bigjoint::peace:

[UPDATE - Day 07 Flower]
Plant's looking downright crazy, my screen is about 95% Full already, and getting dense as shit.

I don't know if it's the Co2, or maybe the combination of running Vegetative Nutrients for the first week of flowering, but I didn't see growth like this with my SSH last grow.

I'll continue to give em Vegetative nutrients for another week, then I'll switch to Bloom Nutes.

Only a couple baby pre-flowers so far, I think it's because of the veg nutes. But I'm looking to fill my screen first, then start the bud production so it's working great.

Looking good my guy.. nice and green .. keep it up

[Update - Day 19 Flower]
Plants looking decent, seemed to be getting a bit of light bleaching going on in the middle of the screen directly under the 600w. So I have raised it from 12" to about 18" over the canopy.

Buds, buds and more buds... These things are everywhere, I am a fan of running Veg nutrients during the first 2 weeks of flowering now, just stunned at all the bud sites... (that i can "see").

They are still baby buds though because I just switched over to bloom nutrients so the plants needs to focus energy on bud production now. Stoked to see what they will look like at 5 weeks :leaf:

No mites! Ha ha, also no fungas gnats, liking the hygrozyme  But I won't get cocky, those mites are the "true" Ninja's...

Man it's been hot as hell lately, glad I upgraded to an A/C controlled room, gotta luv SoCal :fire:

Just snapped a couple quick ones, man the pics don't do it justice. At 25 days they are looking pretty frosty, the leaves are sugarcoated! Only been on bloom nutrients for like 4-5 Days now, the buds are just frosting up everywhere.

I took more pics, but they all came out blurry. I'm a shoddy photographer...

Thinking I will make some hash with all the trim I get from them, also thinking this strain is a keeper :weed:

Thanks Kat, your plants look just as good. Plus I think the heat of summer is dieing down, should be a great harvest in about a month.

Friend coming over has a nice camera, gonna use it tonight and get some high res pics. (She is a much better photographer than I)
I'll post em up when she gets em.

[Update Day 31 Flowering]
Ok everyone, I got maybe 4 weeks left on these girls. It looks like it snowed on most the plants, insane tric production. Thanks to my carbon filter my house doesn't reek, but man when I open my closet up, skunky!

And sticky as hell too, the Co2/AC combo has taken my growing to another level.

Hopefully the buds fatten up in the final month, and get that purple hue I'm looking for. I'm running close to 1,700 ppm's right now, however I see the middle plants are a bit yellowish so I'll back off and go lower like 1,200 range. Gotta goto the hyrdo shop and pick up some nutrients and other stuff.

I'm pretty stoked so far, I still think I can pull a full 1lb of these 6 plants. But the buds definatly gotta fatten up some more to accomplish that. Who knows, maybe BBK is a low yeilder? Either way, looks like it will be some FIRE!!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone and stay tuned for some sexxy bud porn

Looking good man.. i noticed my Kushberry grow.. took a while to put on weight .. after day 38 is when she really got all fat!! .. But U Looking great!.. keep doing what u doing.. :peace::joint:

Really loving that perfectly even canopy! I was going to make screens this go, but ran out of money. Hopefully in the next month or two I can get the materials, and then have my friend help me build the suckers. I want a canopy like yours!

Getting nice 'n' frosty, too! :hump:

It's like an audience of weed at a show where the dude on the stage is rolling and smoking joints. You should have seen the picture in my brain, it was EPIC!!!!!

Thanks man, they have definitely put on a considerable amount of weight in the past couple weeks. I'm at 5 weeks now, so I estimate 3-4 weeks left, plenty of time to fatten up in Aeroponics.

The screens are nice, but they do require a bit of work especially in the first couple weeks of flowering.

And thanks! They look good enough to pick off and smoke, but I know better than that. Wish I could share some nugs with everyone, they smell out of this world.

Man, I gotta get ahold of whatever your smoking. Hopefully this stuff is that good haha :-P

Got some new pic's (hard not to with this new badass camera). One thing I have noticed that's kinda odd, the plants in the middle seem to have a noticable amount of yellowing on the foliage. The outer plants seem darker and greener. All the plants are of the same mother, all have the same nutrients/ph and the temps are a cool 78 degree's. I don't think they are getting nutrient burned because the outter plants have no yellowing at all. Weird, anyways some of the yellowing is turning purple it seems.

At any rate I think I'll lower the ppm's a bit. I'v read that after the 5th week of flowering, it's a good idea to flush and lower the ppm's for the rest of the flowering period as the plants buildup salts on the roots.

So that's it, thought's concerns? Wish you could smell this stuff, like I got sprayed with a skunk.

The yellowing is probably the beginning of a minor phosphorous deficiency. I also had a few purple leaves in the end. Nothing to worry about, it's normal.

Lookin good, though!

Yeah, they do look like they'd be a lot of work, between building them and then getting in there to water, etc. The NL's I have in veg now are going to have a much more even canopy than what I've got flowering. Basically, I topped them for four main branches, tied them, and they're almost where I want them to be just inside the edges of the pots. Then when the center growth gets where I want it, I'm going to top each of the four branch tips to grow evenly with the rest. Lots of growers top two or three times, it's just that my second topping will be after LST and only on the four main branch tips.

This is funny.... up until I started reading about growing last January, I thought that cannabis was a plant from which you could pick the buds as you need them, and they'd just continue growing. Like an apple tree. Don't tell anyone I said that, it's a secret! SSSSHHHHH!!!

I'm a fan of topping multiple times, however with this BBK it seems to top itself so to speak. I topped each plant once, but that was it, they just went bush crazy and sent shoots everywhere on their own. The genetics are pretty amazing.

Haha, if only weed was like an apple tree would save me alot of work!
