Gel rooting hormones for sure. I use Clonex and it does wonders. I used to use a dry, powdery rooting hormone and did not have nearly the results as I did with Gel. Also consider investing in Jumpstart from Advanced Nutrients. I'm not too familiar with aeroponics so I don't know what you would necessarily root into, but I highly recommend Rapid Rooters.
im just saying because a friend told me that they use aeroponincs and add nutes to the water in the resevoir or something to speed the rooting process after you've cloned it and put it in cloning hormones...so what else do you add to the reservoir??
u should just use a liquid solution like olivias or any other name brand. im using the liquid that came with my cloner(powerclone from botanicare) and i think its going 2 work great, gels and powders wash off so u mite as well have a nice liquid solution. u can probly root with plain water, or try b1 n hormones

the gel fills air bubbles in the stem when you dip the clone in it... probably the most important function of it... dont have to cut your clones underwater this way
since ur using an aerocloner.....the hormone will just get washed off
ive always heard soaking in light bloom nutes and misting occasionally with them does the trick
ive never done this....plain water works fine for me
Liquid cloning mix
You can make you own liquid cloning food mix or use one off the shelf such as ESU Root Juice Liquid or Olivias cloning solution. Here is a formula for a quick, inexpensive liquid cloning mix.
To one gallon of water add:
1 teaspoon Hormex Liquid
1/8th teaspoon Dyna Grow Bloom formula. You can substitute any bloom formula for this, just make sure to add it to the clone mix at 1/4 the strength that is recommend on the bloom nutrient label.
Soak rooting media the clones are to placed into with this solution. Also use this solution to foliar feed your clones.
fills air bubbles? have 2 cut it under water? what kinda bull shit is that? maybe im wrong..... i have achived many clones with a dip in2 hormex and plain water, even plain water, the stalk of the plant has its own rooting hormones in it, thats how it roots, just like they feed themselves.
