to tell u the truth i really dont know..well it does it by itself..cause all i do is pour from the top n it fills up then goes to the nxt then fills then finally falls to the bottom! its really cool watching it high!

it's pretty neat i think. it's good when there are alot of people smoking because you dont really have to wait for a hit...you just kinda grab a hose and suck as hard as you can...it makes it like a competition between the smokers to get the biggest hit

I got two bongs I like using right now. They're small but effective to say the least. I'm going for stealth + style with these two. These are both about 10 inches from base to mouthpiece. The bowl I use is not shown just because it's nothing really special.
This first one is the newer of the two. I named him Frankenstein.
These next two are of my favorite of the two. I just call this one my Pirate Bong. My friend referred to it as a masterpiece when he first saw it. I especially love the hand-painted skull and crossbones. I posted a close up of one of them. This is a particularly cool bong because it is nice and heavy and it kind of looks like it was made from a beer bottle.
I apologize for the low image quality, but all I have is a camera phone.
Also, there are some very impressive collections on this thread. Kudos.

It hits like a champ. You can get a surprisingly good amount of smoke cooled in there. I'm happy it's a slider instead of a carb. The whole piece would be ruined if it were a carb.
