Stealth Hydro Automatic PH Controller

Ok good. I try to mist them twice a day. I'm on the way to the store now to get the 65watters but I was wondering if I should keep them further away or just use the hand method where if its too hot for my hand then they are too close?

They look good! Perfectly normal. Watch your humidity and get it above 50% Consider misting with ph's water. It those leave continue to whiten on that one consider a little cal-mag.

cal-mag? And I try to keep the room at about 60-70% humitity but its hard to do with an exhaust vent

Cal-mag is an additive that I find helps many grows when you see some light colored leaves.

I use it because I use tap water and it helps add the right amounts of the things my water is missing. Both the calcium and Magnesium are chelated. That's a plant word that means it's like predijested and immediately available. I use as directed which is 5-10ml per gallon. I use 5ml per gallon in veg and 10 ml per gallon in flower and it seems to work out but that is just a general guideline.
Humidity is really good. They are probably just young and that was just a suggestion in case something came up later. I struglle to keep mine at 55-60& with a humidifier going with the fan on but I like the temp the fan blowing provide (around 70 degrees) so it's a trade off.

sure. im looking at selling all of my stuff. i have 2 ph controllers and a bubbleponics system and a whole bunch of other stuff taking up space

My thinking about the auto controller is that then you get used to it doing the work... and unless you have two so it will do ph up AND ph down automatically, its only doing half the work... so its not even fully automatic...
its a very cool system, but when you control the ph yourself I would think you know more about where your plants are at, and what they are doing... for example...
if something is constantly raising your ph, and the controller lowers it constantly, isn't it like treating the symptom but leaving whatever is causing the ph to go up? the real problem?(as well as filling your plants with ph down solution?) so you would kinda need to control it yourself I would think, to prevent more problems, but this is coming from someone who is about to start his first hydro gro, so its all speculation on my part...

well plants absorb the nutes in the water which makes the ph level rise. so for the most part you only need ph down. also changing the ph yourself you can make errors which will harm the plants. the controller constantly measures the ph level and changes it to stay in the optimum range all the time. it will also show when the pump is on so you can still monitor it yourself. so if it is on all the time you will see it and then you can fix the problem instead of checking the ph and it being way too high (which will kill the plants). the way i found best to use it though is set it to kick on when the ph reaches the maximum level and still change the ph manually. i would not suggest getting 2 of them though because they will conflict with each other. one will kick on and change the ph up/down then it would kick the other on to try to balance the ph out before it balances out to the right level in the tub. the system works great but i would suggest having the ph down tub not be very low because it takes a minute for the ph reading to change and shut off the pump resulting in too much solution. other than that it works great

I have a 6 bucket dwc system four buckets are in flower, two are in my veg box, it takes me 15 min to check and adjust ph as needed, and thats only every 3-4 days MAX! is it really worth 199 dollars for this gadget that promotes laziness? let alone the fact that YOU arent adjusting your ph so you learn NOTHING, and you dont know if you have issues with the plants or not. so it promotes ignorance as well.
I dont mean to knock the system you have, but isnt that whats wrong with america today? were to lazy to think and to lazy to get up and work?
I personally enjoy every second of this hobby, I dont mind manually checking ph, TDS etc etc . MUCH cheaper that way too !
