*?Pistils, were white, now purple?*

what strain. I am watching my purple plants. I have three. When it even remotley drops temps all the leaves purple nicely. I dont know if that is because the cold or they are purple. Most nights here have been cold. But the other plants never purple nor have any except these purple wrecks that I have. And only two of the four I have grown have ever done that. I am guessing if it is a purple strain then the colors will pop for various reasons from cold, to other stress, to natural growth. But only if it has purple in it. Sometimes they purple cuz everything I am doing is right. If it does not have purple anywhere in it's history then you are VSF. Very severly fucked, lol. I just heard that on "air america". Lol. It is a def or some prob in the plant prob section that is very clearly talked about. Check it out dude. gl.
 
put a temp guage in your room, then you will know. I have purps and gentically they are supposed to turn purple. But the leaves not the flowes. There is a strain called "Sweet Purple" it has purple flowers.

Purple is a color and does not indicate good smoke or potency, yet it seems the whole buying community thinks differently. If u have 2 bags and one is purple, ppl want to buy the purp stuff.

My purps are purple kush and GDP. the PK's turned purple after 7 weeks in flower. I am letting the temp go to 60 degrees. during the day it is 70-85. The granddaddy purples are green as can be. no response to cold at all. Which is cool. Pretty dumb to freeze your plants to get color. It decreases the potential of the flowers just to get color.

Grow your own man! The more I read here, the more I am scared to buy! (who wants a insecticide doused bud that was cold stressed to turn a funky color???)

The strain is AK47, fem'd A/F dwarfs, I don't think they are "fucked" but the one with the purp pistols was stunted from day one.

The lower leaves are yellowing Ph is locking out nutes, haven't given nutes once yet, nuted soil.

My temps are 78F, 65ish lights off and R/H is 30%, no intrest in any purple myself.

If u want to see a real closet grow with temps in low 60's at night and low 70's during day ...come check out the og grow by cheez..... They are some beasts ... i dont think your temps were the problem..... just another newb who cant grow......

HAHA go look at this cheezy runts plants it looks like mexican border weed and he talks shit be helpfull not hurtfull especialy when you have no room to talk ak47 is a great strain your master kush on the other hand looks stringy not anything like a kush but keep telling your self u know it all with your outdoor shwag...(just hating haters)

your plants died that sucks bro i would try to get some bag seed from friends grow those and get your room optimised for temp and humidity grab a digital timer that records lows and highs in tem and hum this can be bought at walmart relativly cheap

your right.... the master kush i grew was stringy and did suck ...
Maybe u forgot to mention it was my first grow and it was a year and a half ago......

It does NOT turn PURPLE beacuse of the COLD. It could be a couple things the strain, or a defect of the plant.

PURPLE does also not make the bud better, stricktly for looks.
