as of day 3 of flower I have 1 confirmed female, BUT I have family coming over to stay for a couple days so I had to move the grow tent into my room mates room while he's away for the holidays. Im hoping that they dont all show their sex until friday when I have time to go into the tent. they were really starting to smell up my room and i know theyll be comming in and out so id rather be safe than sorry. they wont go in there for any reason, plus I have a bunch of stuff blocking the closet its in, and a really strong febreeze air freshener in the outlet by the door to mask anything that might come out of the room for any reason. I'll update with photos and everything in a couple days

Day 43 of life
Day 6 of 12/12
I was finally able to do some gardening today since my family was over plus I got the flu/cold so I didn't want to do anything at all.
I have 4 Females and 1 male and I just really didnt have room for the other one that hadn't shown its sex yet. So now im down to 4 WW females.
I trimmed up some dead leaves that I had towards the bottoms and flushed the system and added new nutrient sol.
PH=5.7ish
EC=1190= about 600PPM
As for my clones, i'm not really sure if they're ever going to root. I got rid of a bunch of them plus the ones that were from male plants since theyre were pretty much dead. I have 5 left and I put them in net pots with clay pellets and covered them with SunLeaves block covers. Im hoping that they root in the next week or so or im just gonna give up on them.
one last question. I live in the city in an apartment complex where im pretty good to grow but I try and be as safe as possible when it comes to disposing of my clippings and trash. I try and backpack it in the middle of the night down the street to other apartment dumpsters.
What do you guys do to get rid of your clippings and other incriminating evidence?

Started tying down the plants since i can tell that the height issue is only going to get worse. i went to a local garden shop and just got some $.85 metal rods with clips. bent all 4 of them over pointing towards the center where theres the most light so hope this helps out.

i would try a little higher ppm. i use 450ppm on my 2 week old guys. up it slowly (like 50-100ppm a day)and if you see any nute burn, then go back to the previous... if you check regularly, you can actually wait til it does burn and go down 100ppm and you'll be right there... your plant looks like it should handle around 1000ppm right now. i end up with 2500ppm usually, but have seen plants that couldn't take over a 1300...

thanks for the tip. I added a little more nutrients today and its sitting at about 800 today.

well, damn, 800 is a big increase.... im sure your girl will handle it but still, the shock of such a drastic increase could put into shock.. the beauty of hydro, is that you will know very soon... if you dont see any signs of nute shock tomorrow, then you will be fine... although i would bet that you will get some shock from such a drastic increase.. i hope im wrong. truthefly i have never tried this, so it could work fine

the post that i had where it was sitting at 600 was a over a few days ago. i added the day after that and then yesterday so i guess i should of clarified. so it was at 700 then went to 800 yesterday. so i didnt go up that fast so i think they should be fine. i spend a lot of time inspecting stuff every other day so ill just keep an eye on them.

looking good man, how is the lst taking hold? some plants tend to resist it a bit but others love it, usually i start when they are only on thier 5-6th node and i like to give them at least a week before putting them into flower. let me know how its working for ya.

yah they will be. watch em real good and they should start exploding. if they dont burn then they were obviously hungry... like you were giving them half of what they want

its Day 17 of 12/12 and the buds are starting to cluster up everywhere.

I REALLY hope i can come up with some extra cash pretty soon to get the 400W HPS I've been wanting to get. I dont want to go to much longer with this 150W. its Only strongest at the top center of the plants and none of the lower or even leaves towards the outer part of the canopy are receiving adequate light and are starting to slowly get to weak and die off.
I still have the two 150W CFL lights for extra fill light around the sides.

thanks man. I haven't been spending too much time with the plants lately with recently turning 21 and all and going out on the reg haha. But its been snowing allllll day here in the windy city and I took some time to chill with them tonight. got a pretty bud shot
I put the CO2 gen on the out side top of tent sitting on the shelf of the closet now with a hose going down into the tent with the hose sitting behind the fan so its blown in. good/bad idea? or should i just have it sitting towards the top of canopy? the fan blows across the tops anyways.

should have a good harvest for us on 4/20.
im gonna do something similar like yours but maybe 2-3 plants instead of 6, Organic nutes and maybe led panels to light the lower sides while cfl's are on top.
hopefully i'll get at least 2 o's a plant in 10 weeks.

yea i was planing on having my new seeds by now so i could harvest for 4/20 too. I was gonna do some super lemon haze.
you know what your gonna grow yet?
and as for your hydro set up, are you doing a DWC or recirculating system? because organic nutrients will clog a recirculating system.
