I agree with this. If Marijuana Cultivation, possession, and its use were legalized within the united states the mexican cartels would have a very hard time competing in the U.S. they would have to take their business somewhere else for the most part. not to say it would go away permanently. it just wouldnt be as much of a profit for them and they would probably CHOOSE to go somewhere else.

Or maybe he's just now realizing how much pain and suffering American drug consumption does cause Mexico. Wishing cancer on people is harsh to say the least but he does have a point. As long as cannabis is illegal there will be violence associated with it but does that mean that we, as cannabis consumers, shouldn't make a conscious effort to avoid buying Mexican brick? If you've got the opportunity and the funds, buy some American grown nug. It doesn't guarantee that you're not funding another violent gang and its not going to put an end to violence in Mexico; too many people don't care; but at least the smoke's better.
