Whats The Earliest??????

Ok so i know its not advisable but my pockets are a lil funny at the moment and i was wondering what the earliest i would be able to take a sample bud...Im just now entering the 5th week...for a 7 - 8 week flower period so i know i dont have much more to wait but after this weekend i need to smoke....i do understand that taking a lil this early may not be a true represtitive of what the end product will be...i just need to smoke something...


whats the best way to quick dry i have a few hours so i dont need the 20 minute solution...but a way to dry it out with in a few hours would be great if there is one

ok the earliest you want to take any bud off the plant is 8 weeks and you never just flower for 8 weeks it always takes atleast 10 weeks...... as far as drying nothing will be done in a couple hours its going to take 3 days minimum

for a proper dry yes but there are a lot of quick dry methods out there...i was just trying to find or here some first hand experience...

I agree with the "at least 10 weeks" thing, but I believe b1c can take a bud right now and it will do the job he needs done. It won't be anything like a fully matured and cured bud, but sometimes you gotta do whatcha gotta do.
Quick dry-heat oven to 200f, put bud in oven, TURN OFF heat, wait a couple of hours then check. Repeat if necessary.

To be sure it's dry weigh it green and dry until it loses 70-75% of it's weight.

Clip a bud and put it in a bag and set on top of your HPS for a few hours.. or do the oven thing like above.. then stick it in a jar and let it sit for an hour or so... or after doing the oven and everything, smoke in a vaporizer

Good idea, probably safer than the oven.
