First Grow Journal (Third Grow)

Thanks folks. Definitely looking forward to round two of the sativa... She gave me just under 4oz dry first time around, so with the other two I'm hoping to be a happy camper come harvest time! :-)

Yeah, you can cut your buds off at harvest time, and then place her back into an 18/6 light schedule for however long you like. I left a small amount of foliage on the plant when I harvested. This green, when placed back onto veg cycle, grew out and set the stage for all of the new growth on the plant.

I have read that the potency will degrade with each flowering cycle, but I'll let you know in a couple months for sure. :-)

damn i have heard this but didn't know if it was true. good info for sure, i will try this myself soon.:peace:

Haha Good luck with that. I find it exciting to know that I'm going to get another round with the same plant.

Updated pics.

You can see the two in the back of the cabinet are labeled P#1. Those are my baby purps. The one on the right has obviously taken off a bit more than the one on the left. Hopefully that's not an early sign of it being male...

The two white satins up front, labeled WS are definitely looking much lower and thicker at this point, but I'm sure everything will work out as they grow.

We're now 28 days from the time these babies were placed into rockwool cubes.

The White Satin are looking... muscular. The upper portion of the stems are fattening and just looking sweet at this point. Great looking plants at this point.

The Purple #1's still aren't quite as well along as the WS, but they're definitely on their way. I topped the tall one last night, as it was climbing up over the other three. I've been smoking weed for about ten years now and to my knowledge I have still not tasted a purple strain... So, I'm seriously looking forward to harvesting these two.

More to come...

As of last night, all four plants were topped after the fourth or fifth node, depending on the plant.

They're all still doing very well. After I topped the tall P #1 last week it really started to bush out, so I'm expecting the rest to do the same now that they're all generally the same height. I figure I have roughly another four to six weeks before my older gals are done flowering, so these should have plenty of time to grow between now and then. :)

Few more pics from today. As mentioned yesterday, all four plants have been topped. They're all growing so fast I've had to rip out my shelf and lower everything so they arent burned by the light... haha I guess that's a good thing? :-) I just need my other three plants to finish flowering soon! :blsmoke:

The shot of the stem is to show how thick the upper part of the stem is, as opposed to the base of it. I'm not sure if this is normal, or if anyone knows of this being a bad sign? Both of the White Satin plants are showing this trait, so I assume that its normal as long as it still retains enough strength at the base to support the plants and suck up enough water and nutes to feed them.

Working at the moment, so I'll be updating with pics before the end of the day.

I've had to lower my shelf in the smaller veg area twice now because these four plants are growing at such a fast rate. At this point, I'm looking at two options... 1) Buy another HPS light for that chamber so I can begin flowering them. 2) Stick it out until my current three ladies are done flowering, and hope the WS and P#1s dont outgrow the large chamber when I do get them moved over there. I think I'm still facing another two or three weeks on the larger ladies before I can get them out of there, so Im somewhat torn at the moment.

As mentioned, more pics this afternoon.

Updated pics... I'm going to go ahead and drop them into 12/12, at least to sex them. We'll see... Hopefully I end up with at least three females!

The last pic of is one of my three flowering ladies...

Well, I chopped one of the ladies that I have in flowering right now, so Im debating on whether to move one of the smaller plants over into the flowering chamber... I'm leaning more toward keeping them all together at this point.

One of the P#1's has balls... Lots and lots of balls... I'm going to give him a few more days and then move him out into the house to finish his cycle. I would like to collect the pollen and hang onto it in case the other P#1 turns out female and I want to get a hand full of seeds later on. :-)

As for the White Satins; neither of them have given any solid indication of sex, but Im leaning toward them both being female. The one male I already have really did shoot way way up in height, while the other three plants pretty much stayed at the same rate of growth.

Crossing fingers! More updates and pics to come later today!!

OHH!! And, I'll be posting a new journal within the next couple days. I've recently come across a handfull of spore syringes. :hump::hump::hump::hump: I'll be working with Psilocybe Cubensis and Panaelous (Copelandia) Cyanescens.

wow the shroom growing adventure sounds fun!!! Could we see some harvest pic? You have some very nice plants in that pic

I'll toss up some pics later on this evening when I get home... I have to get through work and then run to the store to pick up some supplies for my lab experiments! :-)

Stay tuned!

Ugh... Well, three of the four plants turned out to be males. I have one of the P#1s and one of the WS males in another room of the house just feeding off of natural light. I'll let them do their thing until I can collect some pollen.

I'll be replanting the one Whits Satin lady this evening, and placing her back into veg... Since she's going to have the flowering chamber all to herself for a while, I'm going to let her veg a bit longer before we flower. :-)

And I know I owe pics! I've been slammed this week with work and life... I'll hopefully get to it tonight, and if I have time I'm also planning on documenting my shroomangi preparations. I need a few hours to get all that done right though, so its definitely dependent on available time. Maybe the other half will be home from work in time to help out?!? :)

I've been wanting grow purple number one but everytime I try and order through wwms it just sends me an email. How did you do it? I have paypal but then what?
