My First Grow; Indoor Easy Ryder.

It's Kindof hard to get a decent picture that shows the damage, but here is a vague idea;

you may be able to make out the curling and browning of the tips of the biggest 4 leaves, here is a close up of one of them;

I'm not sure it is something to worry about about right now, but if it gets worse i would like to do something about it. :(

poor glados.

Nothing major yet. Just keep an eye. I know how you feel you like to get an idea dont ya. What soil you using?

It's a mix of peat compost pebbles and a little pealite. really she is probably still in just the first peat from the small pot as she was only recently re potted.

All I can think of is PH is way off some how. I can't think of anything else is heat is not an issue... just an idea

I think you are right Dj, Ive done some googling and some people seem to say that peat soil is generally acidic.
Ill just keep an eye on it for now and if it gets much more noticeable ill look into neutralizing it.

Thanks again.

aye bro, do you live in the u.s. ?
and if so, do you know where or how i can get some of those feminised easy rider seeds ?...lmk

Hey fatclouds, I'm afraid I don't live in the US, and i think that the availability of seeds there depends entirely on which state you live in and how progressive it is.
I actually got mine over the counter at a head shop, im not sure if you can do that in most american states, although you certainly can in most parts of Canada.

For your information mine are Easy Ryder. which is a feminised cross of Lowryder 2 and AK47 by The Joint Doctor, im sure that if you google that you may find someone online that can ship to you, but you should check the law in your state regarding seeds as i wouldn't want you to do anything illegal.

If you are curious, the website on the packaging is;
www.lowryder.com

Hope that helps my American brother.

Maybe this is too early to be expecting this,

But im getting some nodes here, can anyone tell me if this is a sexing thing?
Can i say that she is officially female yet?

Sorry for the crappy photograph.

I guess it will become more obvious in a few days.
I love how this has become as much of a photography journal for me as a grow journal.
Ive learned a lot in both disciplines i think!

So, those little growths that i thought could be preflowers, are in fact tiny little leaves.

What madness is this?

Oh, and if anyone is interested, here is Glados at around day 20;

Still havent started using nutes.

yea them tiny leaves will turn into bigger leaves! I started using 1/4 nutes on day 19 and from there she just started going mental...

what nutes you got? I used biobizz grow at 1/4 strength and with each watering increased the dosage, now im on 4ml/L, with 3 parts grow 1 part bloom, going to be adjusting the ratios as i go, but i havent had any nute burns at all...

Start sing them next waterring fella! Will go good!!

Peace

cool, Thanks for the tips!

I shall look into nutes, but to be honest, i wanted to wait 'till i was certain that it was female before spending any more money on her.
What do you guys think? is it still too early to determine?

And also, can anyone recommend some good nutes i can pick up in a general homestore? Like BnQ in the UK.

Last question,
Does she look small to anyone else for day 20?

Thanks for all the help as usual.
