topped and now 3 heads?

terra veggaa+b. for vegg, but ive only fed once, and only once a week, till i goto 12/12. then terra flos every 4 days, every other water. and i also have bio buzz for 12/12,too. but will only use in the last weeks before i start to flush.
 
Ah! Is that what a sea of green is. I don't know all these terms but I do know that you can top your plants a number of times. Just make sure to leave time for it to heal and start growing again before you decide to top it again or else you might end up stunting it for too long.

I have a friend who grows all his plants this way because he grows in an attic. His plants look incredible and the amount of bud in return is amazing.

Where nothing but tops are exposed to the best light to increase productivity. Of cours you have to decide if its really more or if you should just grow stalk style with on solid cola about 2 feet long and 4 to6 inches around.

were getting a bigger prop. in the new year and ill have a full room, hope im a better grower by then.lol
 
how many colas should i be aiming for per plant for a scrog grow?.
ive just germed 4 ak48 and potted them on this morning , there in the vegg room waiting to sprout, i also started to germ 4 durban poison but only one has popped, so far, but its only been about 48 hours. and in 3 weeks for my next grow, ive ordered some ice. and pakisan valley. never herd of them before just liked the names/flowering time and thc content. they will either be good or not.

Ive never grown like that so i cant be of much help really.
I was under the impression that sog scrog grows weren't topped at all,just a bunch of single stemmed clones.
I take it you just want to shove as many colas as possible under the lights that you have which is cool.

Ten tops is easily manageable,any more than that,then usually you have to start thinking along the lines of supporting the plants stems with ties and sticks etc. or you may end up with a snapped main stem because of the weight of the plant.

All that is said assuming that you don't want to give the extra 4-8 weeks of veg time for the plant to strengthen all of its stems after you have stopped topping.
When you tie them of make sure you do it loosely so that they can still wobble in the wind of the fan:blsmoke:

i thought with a scrog grow the cage im going to grow in will support the single coles and plus i cud tie the plants to the cage, ill post some pics so you get what i mean.
 
i was going to vegg the plants try to get lots of colas then poke the equal cola through the cages holes so they all get equil lite. what you think?. here are some pics of the cage. i was going to put inside just after 12/12.

Looks like a plan to me.
Cant see any reason why it wont work well.
Another reason for doing like a 100 seperate clones in a sog is that lets say you have 4 plants with 50 stems each and 2 get ill and 1 gets mites then suddenly you only have 1 plant left,it may well have 50 stems but if it dies your screwed,whereas in a 100 single plant setup you have a higher chance for success and if 10-20 plants even fail it wont bother you to much i.e. you have more room for problems.
Personally i reckon fimmed plants seem to grow better anyway and i always fimm them at least once.

just proves that they is nutes in the soil, these plants are 5 week from seed and have also been topped. there under flos for a day or two till the grow room is finished, being painted. there going to 12/12 on the 1/1/08 and then 3 to 5 plants every 3 weeks. hopfully. i hate buying weed, when i can spend a little time, and very little money. and get for free. its got to be all good. as far as im concerned im doing nothing wrong. just growing myself a little happyness. wow 026.jpg
