Tiger Stripes on Seeds?

Does the tiger stripes on seeds indicate a sativa or indica strain? Or does the tiger stripes mean that the seed is more mature?
 
Thanks for the quick reply. So the seeds that I have ordered from Attitude are actually not mature as they could have been since they don't have tiger stripes?
 
Only half the seeds ive bought have had the tiger stripes. Those small tiny seeds you always get wind up working just fine.
 
tiger seeds are determined by the genes of the plant. there probably was a point in time where it may have represented a certain something with the plant but nowadays there is so much crossing going on that it doesnt really matter what the seed looks like as long as it is mature. i have had plenty of big plump seeds that were completely plain but were definately mature and grew fine plants. some strains have seeds that look very light in color compared to others but are fine. a good way to tell if your seed is any good is to squish it between your thumb and index finger. it should not smush. if it does it wasn't going to grow anyway. some people do the water test and put the seeds in water to see what ones sink. i have done this and all the seeds grew, even the ones that sank. i must admit that i lost track of what was what so i can't really say anthing about how those paticular seeds fared in the grow, but they did grow. tiger seeds don't mean anything except there is a decent chance that the seed is mature. lack of stripes means nothing.
 
that has got to be the most rediculous thing i have ever seen. i cannot believe i just saw that. there is NO WAY to tell from a seed what the sex of a plant will be and i am horrified at the spreading of this kind of info. if that's supposed to be a joke it's not funny at all.
 
Definitely CANNOT tell sex by looking at the shape/color of the perianth or the shape of the abscission layer, lol!

Sorry but you sir are a moron! The dude who posted is right. I Looked at all your post that you started and 98% of them are post asking if your doing this or that the good way and look like you have poor knowledge.

So instead of spamming stuff that your not even sure, just avoid answering to people!

You can tell the sex From Seeds or Early germinated seeds. People who say its impossible just dont know about it and dont have the knowledge to do so.

I Been doing this since forever and always have females only. I Tryed growing the seeds i removed "looking as male" from the same method and ended up beeing male. So please avoid confusing people with false info!

yeah i dont believe a word of that. i just checked out around 50 seeds (all bag seed, none fem'd) and ALL have a dimple in the end like that....so then all my seeds are female right? lol, i wish.

Look believe it or not. I found it a long time ago and I am not the original poster of said information. If you want to ask where it came from talk to fdd2blk . He's on and is on of the forum administrators. And honestly let's think about this before we completely NERD RAGE all over the computer at someone that might actually be trying to help the community.

If it is "just plain disinformation" (i think you meant misinformation). Then what would it hurt if you tried it out when selecting seeds? I mean cause according to the people that FLAMED the shit out of me for posting a pic you can't tell the sex of the plant anyways.....right? so .......What it really boils down to is people on the internets LOVE TO POINT THE finger and yell "YOUR WRONG!" Just chill out. We are on a site that promotes the cultivation of a plant that is supposed to bring friends together and chill, which also brings relief to the ill and disabled.

If you are curious as if it will work or not try it out. If it doesn't work for you , well im sorry. But I've used this method and so far its been accurate. SO ya im done and off the soap box. I ment no harm by spreading a method of sexing seeds which has some credibility. It is up to the person to apply the method or not. Individual results may vary.

If this was for real, don't you think the seed banks would be all over it, instead of fucking around with colloidal silver?
