maybe i should correct something... i did not mean that thats how you are supposed to do it i was saying its a good way to do it. i've done it myself and found that mimicking nature is a good way. and i did NOT mean freeze them either. once they are dry and hardened off the plant i found that storing in a dry place with cool (and dark) atmosphere increased my germ. rate. however planting bout a month after i'm sure would be fine. in fact if mr. ganga can get a 95% germ rate then how he goes about drying seeds obviously works great. we must learn from people who has had more success than us.

its not looking good today, not many more up. there is definately looks like there is a curing period.as fdd2blk has suggested could be a month.
normaly most other would have germed by now. not even 70% at this stage more like 30% but some are still working on it. two more days and i,ll have a definate. but it is looking like curing is a must.

seeds take from 4 to 6 weeks to mature from time dusted i normally go the max 6 weeks
once before i knew the time fram i choped a diesel ryder at its proper maturity not thinking i had dusted the girls nose and i was a two time looser the smoke was not all it could be it spent energy producing seeds the seeds were no good small and green and baige
since then i go six weeks no matter if i have to harvest a 8 to 9 week plant in 11 1/2 weeks like i had to do the last time cause i dusted late due to slow pistil development smoke is old gooed together weak but smokable
ask yourself what is most important
if doing autos do 2 one to dust one to smoke if doing a reg plant do a branch label it let it stay behind if you harvest rest of plant

as faras a cure time not needed some wait 2 weeks some a month before use some pop in onto germ as soon as they get them and they germ do whats best for you

There are two ways to do this, one using colloidal silver the other is stressing a flowering female plants into a hermi causing it to form male reproductive organs also. The plant then self pollinates and you get s1.

i quit reading high times before most people here started growing. when people reference high times, or anything associated with, i can only laugh.
to get "true" feminized seeds you have to grow out a bunch of females and expose them to a lot of stress. you want to fuck with light cycles, feeding, heat, slap them around a little. expose them to light leaks while flowering, push them to 14 weeks. do whatever you possibly can do to try to make them produce male pods. when you find a female that WON'T produce male pods, no matter how much you stress it, then you have a working female. you now take this working female and spray a branch with colloidal silver. this will cause male pods to form which the pollen can be collected from, then you can use this "feminized" pollen to seed another plant to get your feminized seeds. any other pollen from a female is simply hermy pollen, it's not feminized. if you use hermy pollen you will get hermy seeds.
working with any hermy plants will simply give you hermy plants. you often don't even know your plants are hermy until halfway thru flower when the male pods start appearing. this is not good. you want to work with plants that will NOT hermy when stressed. otherwise you will simply end up breeding more hermies.

you stress a female to find one that will NOT hermy. them you use a CHEMICAL to cause it to produce male pods. if you look around this site you will see i have gone over this 1000 times already.

after testing several batches i have found a month to be the magic number. at 2 weeks i had about 70% germ, at 4 weeks + it goes up to 95+% germ rate.
i let all mine dry for at least a month, after they turn brown on the plant.
what conditions did you dry them? cool dark place? sunny?
