I've heard some say it's bad for you to smoke out of a tinfoil pipe. Is this true? I've been doing it for years.

Me too Hank. It's "aluminum" foil actually but that is probably no better for you than tin.I need to get me a really good one-hitter. I've got a nice water pipe but it's a bit much for just a few tokes and it's never been smoked out of in case someone comes calling that I don't want coming in.
 
aluminum has been 100% linked to alzheimers disease. aluminum dioxide in particular, such as is found in most anti-perspirant deodorants. :(
 
Combining heat + aluminum is not a good idea. Loose the tinfoil pipes and buy yourself a glass piece. Also, stop using any deodorant that has an " antipirspirant" (sp). All deodorants use aluminum oxides to clog your pores to stop you from sweating so much. This aluminum is absorbed into your bloodstream and limph nodes.

Just use deodorant and deal with a little sweat.
 
MOST baby powders contain aluminum as well to help block the pores from sweat...

Unless you are a crack head why would you smoke out of tin foil... Your local head shop will have good cheap one hitters... Grab one... There is nothing like glass for your herb... =]
 
Well i had a nice glass piece but it got broke. Spent 40 bucks on it:-( I need to get a really good one hitter.

when in need, tinfoil can burn your weed. i use it all the time, but it cant be good. try to use them as little as poss.

i have a little bronze bowl from a bong that i use to make random pipes out of stuff sometimes.. you could probably buy one for a dollar. Then you could actually use a soda can to smoke with and still not inhale fumes from the tin woo. (you just have to cut a hole for the bowl to go in and a carb hole and maybe some duct tape around the bowl). It might be ghetto.. but its easy, cheap, and pretty stealth because you can act like it's a normal soda can if someone walks by. But I usually just stick to my glass bong, vortex, and vaporizer:mrgreen:
 
tin and aluminum are the same, and no its only for the elderly who smoke out of tin that get the disease OR somone who hasnt hada tetnes shot
 
check it yo, i used to go to the drug store and they sold these little glass eye dropper things you just rip off the rubber end then put your chorboy in their with a little rock...... oh wait a min. i mean rip that rubber jawn off and put some weed in their and your set
