No the stuff that's in the bog water is tar and smoke. the water is like a filter for cigarettes

and it will filter thc. if you can scrape a pipe and get high off the resin because the tar and smoke and thc stick to the glass and everything else why wouldt water catch thc also. ive never done it but i dont see why it wouldnt work

When people tell other growers to not use MG because it causes nute burn and buy a bag of soil that cost $10 - $20+ when the truth is many things could have caused your plant to get burned. Over feeding, Water ph levels, your lights and such when people onn here have and still is growing with mg with no problems.

What seems more realistic growing with a 8.8L of MG soil that people can grow fine in or turn around and buy a $20 bag of soil that pretty much does the same job?

I'd say buy the $5 bag of MG soil use it then clean it and add nutes you can mix into the soil and what not to fine tune it then do what alot of people do on here buy a $20 bag of soil use it then throw it away then buy another $20 bag of soil. I grow house plants in MG soil with no problems and I feed them 8th teaspoon of 20-20-20 and 1ml of B-1 Thrive every watering with no problems. You can grow herbs in a $5 bag of MG soil just fine so quit telling people to buy a $20 bag of soil that will do the same job that you can buy it for $5

Also aluminum foil and hotspots....who really cares?!?! Panda poly is $1 per foot(1x12) and is easier to work with, forms a moisture barrier, and is a better reflective surface than aluminum foil any day. If people are still using aluminum foil despite the obvious advantages of panda poly then just let them be. My mom always says "Don't argue with fools because from a distance people cant tell the difference."

No when you burn the bud, oil, hash or w/e THC so what ever is in the water is garbage because the THC would be useless after its been burned. the pipe part of the bog catches the resin and such that you get from smoking it so that it doesn't go into the water

I reuse the soil I've used growing my herbs in. I just make sure I clean it with boiling water spread it out and let it dry. The only difference is between soil that you've used and clean is that there are no nutes in it compared to when you buy it from the store

OH ok well yeah if you bake or boil your medium untill all the nutes are out you can reuse it. After a while though salts will build up. BOiling will help to remove salts but not all of them. Baking obviously does little for salt removal. In my experience it is better to buy fresh soil or medium unless you use hydroton or perlite.


THe worst advice i have read is someone reccommending to use baking soda to raise ph. Allthough it works it also adds excess sodium to the medium thus blocking out salts.

See that's my point. I've always reused the soil that I've growen herbs in. When I first use the new soil that I buy from the store I don't give it much nutes still almost 1 month after its been used with a seedling or clone. Older plants it can handel it but I only reuse the soil 5 to 10 times then I'm gonna be rinsing it off then dig up the old/dead grass up to 1 foot then put the soil in there so when I buy grass seeds it will have soil their roots can go into and not clay

1) i agree with you on the soil i reuse throughout my balcony after i sterilize it by baking in my oven until completely dry, ive never had problems...

2) again ive never tried it but it should work... if thc was useless after its been burned you wouldnt get high in the first place, if you scrape your pipe and smoke your resin thats 2x the burn and you still get high... now as far as the water filter, you cant pick and choose what you want to be filtered. the smoke itself is filtered and cooled, their is tar loss and thc loss and a bunch of other shit that gets stuck in the water. if you let all the water evaporate and you clean your water chamber im pretty sure you will be left with resin like a normal dry pipe resin. if you choose to smoke that you will get you high.

For corssing you can't have 2 plants in 1 pot for making seeds because the male matures about 2 weeks sooner then the female so the pollen would be wasted
