every day always or just till it goes away?Doubt it is mange, the dog looks to healthy. Sounds like allergies, go to the store and buy some plain ol benadryl. Give the dog one once per day and she should stop itching. My dog gets this in the summer too. If the benadryl does not help then take to vet.
dude, dont give him/her any medication that the vet didnt subscribe. i wouldnt worry to much seeing at the picture. its most likely on the weather if its too hot. i wouldnt stressed these enough...try to check your dog by yourself and see what happens. 1st. give her a lot of vitamin-c, change her diet purina sucks too if your going to ask me, check the ingredients if its chicken and has corn content stay away from it. believe me it would cost you cheaper on medication and such. like i said again byproducts meaning the meat used are not human grade (roadkill, double-dead animals anything you couldnt eat) 3rd buy a medicated shampoo. clean her surroundings. make sure to follow the instruction of the dog food at the back if hes active then follow it, if he doesnt get a lot of exercise then give her less...believe me!!! change her dog food to canidae lamb meal it cost more but if you check the feeding schedule at the back panel compared to your alpo or purina the recommend ammount per serving in a day is less, you pay more you feed less. you only feed once a day thats it. how old is your dog? if he/she is 5-6 yrs older switch to senior. protein is playing a big roll in our dog its the most common problem that we dont see, im pretty sure you need to change your dog food,
upto you, personally i wont. but if your upto it just give her half of the dosageso is the benedryl safe or not cause I got some and everybody says allergies.....
personally i never gave my dog benadryl nor my vet prescribed me benadryl. but if the other guy said its safe then i wouldnt argue with it. if it is safe then hes most likely to heal faster than what i was advising you. im only to give you advice so these doesnt occur again and seeing that you care for your dog, im just saying you want the best for your dog just follow the simple steps and youd be greatly rewarded with a happy best friend.so is the benedryl safe or not cause I got some and everybody says allergies.....
and I thank you, you been a big help...personally i never gave my dog benadryl nor my vet prescribed me benadryl. but if the other guy said its safe then i wouldnt argue with it. if it is safe then hes most likely to heal faster than what i was advising you. im only to give you advice so these doesnt occur again.
everywhere here does... Like 30 bux and they want 20 to examine her shit for reasons I dont know...lol.....Ya you don't ever wanna give animals full doses as they might have a not so positive reaction. Give her half a dose and wait it out then another one 10-12 hours later. If it starts to get better work on changing her food then getting to a vet asap. She might just have dry skin and need some lotions or pills that are pretty cheap. Most vets don't charge just to "look" at your animal.
Damn that's cold. What happened doing it for the love of the animals? Damn greedy bitches.everywhere here does... Like 30 bux and they want 20 to examine her shit for reasons I dont know...lol.....
