AUTOGROWER Ready for HARVEST!?

k so i have grown a "Mi5" strain feminized autogrower off the site "dope-seeds.com", developed by the "shortstuff" seed co. "Mi5" stands for "My indoor 5" kind of a dumb name but suits how it was developed, here is the info off the website:



Seeds per pack : 10
Type : Auto flowering indica/sativa hybrid
Height : 20–44 inches (50 to 110 cm tall)
Harvest : 9-10 weeks from seed
Yield : 25 – 50g per plant
Indoors/Outdoors
Effect : high stone with giggles
Potency : 9/10
A new creation from the Autoflowering seed breeder 'STITCH' who says "Mi5 stands for My Indoor number 5 which is the highest selection of an AK47 cross borne after hard and long selection of breeding. The 5th cross was selected and is the final result of this hard work. Number 5 is very resinous plant, quite tall for an AK 47 plant cross, for 50 to 110 cm tall. This plant has a very purple afghani bred into it so outside will go a lovely rich shade of purple

theres the first two pictures of what the strain is suppose to look like, a picture of when it was 10 days old roughly, a picture of what it looks like now up close and one from far away (the one on the right, one of the left is "Snowryder"). QUESTIONS: why has mine not turned purple?? i have it flowering under a 1000watt HPS on a light mover. 2ND Q: it is suppose to be finished 9/10 weeks from seed and today (sept.20th) is the beginning of week 8.. should i flush it on the 27th???

hey yo Gibs, looking mighty fine there. And to be honest, in the decription from the site it says the purplish tone comes from outdoors. Although it can be easily replicated, just make sure the next grow (if growing the same strain)veg it in cooler temps off and on for about a week to ten days. Thats how I've seen it done on here at any rate. And since you only have a week or so left, you are right on the money about starting flush on the 27th. Although depending on what you used for your medium, you may want to start flushing a little sooner than the 27th.

ya i wondered how u get those affects indoors cuz of course we all love to see the amazing colors that can come out of our plants. and thats pretty cool, makes sense i guess. i could probly do a few things to increase that aspects potential. and ya im growing in pro-mix bx soiless mix and today i just gave it some ph balanced bottled spring water with a ppm of 53.

the way my watering schedule goes, i would: feed on the 24th one more time then flush on the 28th.. then if possible a second flush on the 2nd. which would push it for the 10 week estimation from the site.

this an ok idea?

Some people say it does not have to be flushed in the last weeks but i do it all the time i dont want to harvest with nutes in my plant still.I say flush until ready.

hey gibbs to answer your ? about why yours didnt turn purple it could be the temp for one cooler temps seem to helo also low humidity.. and for your other ? about the time NO! its not from seed its from when you transfer to 12/12.. oh wait there auto growers my bad.. you know im not sure with those i never grew auto's .. it just might be from seed

thanx guys. ya i think im going to flush one like i had planned above and just straight harvest the other one and see what i like. these 2 autogrower's will be my first plants to harvest, im excited :)

i thought that a couple days ago but then today i come down and the tips looked amazing.. just debating wether or not i should feed again on the 24th (tomoro) or just start flushing.. i will take another pic of them tonight when the lights are off around 2am

so i decided to flush them today.. will do it again when they dry up in 3 days. was in a rush to head out for the weekend and decided mayb it was just best. also saved me sometime on making some food for them.

what would happen if u fed them an extra week when you werent suppose to tho? like what would happen if u try to flower them too long?

take it ez back monday.

well the one thats "Snowryder" strain is actually as tall as its suppose to be, maybe could of had some more bud on it, but not by much.. we will c when i weigh it dry after harvest/curing. but the "Mi5" the bigger one, i kept in a small pot, didnt grow it outside.. etc etc. cuz that one is clearly suppose to be bigger and have an ounce or more per plant as u can see by the info on my first post. so i dont know, im sure there was a few things i could have done differently, but will apply them on the next "auto" grow

the first 7 are "Mi5" and the last 4 are "Snowryder".. i cut them down sept.30th and took these pics the night before, tomoro is the last day they are hanging (7days) and i will then chop them up n stick them in some glass jars.. i took them down a little early actually, i didnt have a magnify glass took check the trichs.. and i cut the "sun" leaves off early if that isnt mentioned earlier in the post already, did that by accident and thot it was better to let the bud get all the light lol.. heres my grow now that these are out of the way>>>
