Growing pot (to me) is like owning a muscle car ...
-every body wants a ride ..
-they'll never respect it as much as you do
-you let them drive, they'll rip its guts out and smile about it..
I had a buddy that grew mj, didn't grow well, hermed out, though the fruits of his hard work (2 months +) didn't last a day .. ppl wanted some .. wasn't about HIM, it was about THEM .. (getting they're fill ..)
If you give som1 the reson to give you Attention, you'll get attention .. (good and\or bad)

show it off here on the forum. no need to let anyone know. only a very few very close friends. i live in a small town and word got out quick because i do it at a friends and they're not smart enough about who knows about it. but we also have med cards and keep the room locked and have video surveillance. so anyone steals anything from me, its going to be them calling the cops and ambulance cause a couple of my good friends that like to do nothing but fight will beat the fuck out of them thieves. it's happen before except no cops involved. people fucking suck, keep your good to yourself, dont be afraid to be selfish. if they want good pot they can grow there own. fuck everyone else, just keep it in your circle. dont brag, people that do that are idiots. its just asking for drama.

I found it really hard not to tell anyone about growing magic mushrooms. Now that Im over that, I dig the whole sneaky sneaky part of the whole thing, designing an unnoticable grow box/room, being silent, passing a bowl to a buddy and they saying "damn, wish i was friends with the badass that grows this shit", thats the part u just smile, take a hit and say "me too man", thats the rims on the caddy right there. If you cant keep your mouth shut, end it now, before something goes wrong.

what do you i treat mine like they are babies. i feed and water and change thier nutes. i play music for them talk to the read books to them and even tuck them in at night. i am making sure they are not to hot or to cold. sometimes i dont think i spent this much time courting my wife.

Because of my chronic disease, I was thirsty for information about homegrown, medical MJ. I did a simple Google search and 4 of 5 top results pointed to RIU.
That being said, as long as you don't post a bunch of pictures of a massive grow house operation and write things like: Hi, I'm Homer Simpson, I live at 742 Evergreen Terrace, Springfield, USA; you have nothing to worry about.
Where I live there was a series of major busts today by the local yokels where they received a "tip" and shut down a half dozen Cuban organized crime grow house operations. I doubt the tip came from the Internet but you never know. As many others here have said, "loose lips sink ships".
Even though some states have loosened their marijuana laws, it is still illegal in the eyes of federal law. Sad but true.

Just keep thinking what would be more of a hardship on you. Fighting to keep your mouth closed instead of trying to look cool too friends by telling them you are growing pot or fighting to keep your mouth, and another orifice, closed in a prison shower.
That should keep you quiet if anything will.
