1st time grower here. I started late with some bags seeds and a few Kona Gold seeds that i got from my uncle who lives on the Big Island, I'm located in the south shore of Massachusetts.
For a late start (mid july in the ground), they seem to be doing well, although this is my first time growing so what do I know. I think I need at least another month for the Kona Gold they just started flowering. The bag seeds flowered earlier are much further along than my Kona Gold.
I'm confused if I should build a temporary greenhouse or cover with cotton sheets at night. The next few night are supposed to get into the thirties, days avearge low 50's with mostly sun. I have some picture but I'm not sure how to post them. Any help, suggestions or tips are appriciated.
I don't have many Kona Gold seeds left so I hope to get something to use next year when I make another run at it.
Thank you!
If they just started flowering, their not going to make it. Your only options are to build a shelter or move the plants. Today smelled like snow, wicked. The time is near.
Mine are sill out.....my tomato plant(s) that is.
How are everyones harvest(s)?

the bag seed was about 3 - 4 foot high. Ill get some pics up tonight. The gold plant loooks much different, lighter color and more dense with buds/flowers. I cant believe i got a girl but now the winter is gonna kill her. The gold plant is pretty much the same size height wise as the bag seed plant but has a much thicker main stem with more offshoots that have more flowers. I have some pics but I don't want to use my photobucket account for obvious reasons. Any other medium, resource or format that anyone knows to post pics would be great. ThanksHow tall is the gold? If it's the strain I'm thinking of it's massive! How big was the bagseed plant? Pictures would be cool!
