Ive got 4 plants and they are over 7 foot tall... Ive tied them down to 5 foot.... How much more will they grow? They are all flowering very nice... Counted over 400 flowers...is that good?

Wow... must be Sativa dominant. That happened to me once. Gifted with some seeds. Turned out to be Sativa and they took over my grow space. I had to harvest early because I had no more room.

1000w HPS bulbs have a maximum penetration of about 36 inches. If you keep the bulb 12 inches above the plant that means only the top 2 feet are getting proper amounts of light.
So no, indoors, plants do not need to be 7 feet tall. It doesn't increase their harvest weight.
They won't be doing much more growing. They should be just adding flowers at this point.

ill try and get some pics.... they were clones that my buddy gave me.... pineapple chunk.....they are drinking over a gallon of water a day.... is that normal?

well i got a 400 wt hps..... 8 40 wt T12... 6 120 wt cfls..... and a partridge in a pear tree...

I got pineapple chunck growing now its at week eleven it will stretch like fuck even after lst and topping.

well ive tied the shit out of them.... seems like i have new growth every day.... my grow area is 5 x 5 wt 7 foot ceiling....looks like a fricking jungle in there
