Where to buy cfl light sockets online.

I've been searching on the internet and can't find light sockets for 125-200W cfl such as envirolite. I'm trying to find just the plain socket with a power cord that will install in any regular wall outlet.

can you use HID sockets for CFl ?

yes weeds.... the socket is simply a MOGUL type socket...
if the enviro you have has a built in ballast in the bulb then all you need is an extension cords... expose the wires on the female end... and attach to the socket... plug in and your done...


if you have an external ballast for the light then you'll have to rig it to that... but you'll need someone elses help on how to do that...

does that apply to all high wattage CFL over 150W do most of them run on HID sockets.

all the big cfl will work in a 5kv socket u can make em your self also any light shop worth its salt will have all the necessary pieces and for less money

all mogul based bulbs will work in mogul sockets...
medium base in medium socket

match your bulb to the socket... its not an "HID" socket... as more than just HID's use them... hope this helps
