Awesome grow you got here Kiki! Excellent work for your frist +REP. Funny how it only requires a little research to kick ass huh? Lol anyway I like what I see so I'm sub'ed. Can't wait to see bud time, your gonna love the SLH!

Thanks for the props GG... I never mind when a 420 time vet stops by. Any input you have, I'll take.... because that's reallly how I'm able to do as well as I'm doing.... lots of support from the family here at RIU. TTYL. and I'm sub'd over on your grow journal too - have been for a while.

TR- going to throw the special queen, 3 churches and super silver haze into flower first. SQ and Churchres are indica, they're good to go... the silver haze is a VERY tall strain and as you can see it's already over 26".. so it needs to go to flower... the other 3 SLH and amnesia haze are going to stay behind and veg until 12/30 so I can really make them huge!!! They are obviously sativa strains, so they're not as bushy and filled out, and right now not as tall as they need to be to produce a good yield... again, I'm in no hurry, so I'm doing it right. My flower tent is 4x8, so I have double the room than they're in right now.... it's going to be awesome. I'm going to pull my clones soon also, so I can keep a revolving harvest going every 4 weeks, as my flower times on the strains vary from 8, 9, 10 and 12 weeks. Just FYI, I'll be adding purple kush and purple urkle to the family soon, as they're on the way now. I love my new hobby!

Your new hobby was meant to be, your doing fantastic - rep comin' your way. So your taking every body that's getting to big for the party on to the other tent,... sounds like the grown-ups and the kids table that's always around at the holiday dinners! lol
May I hear and see more about your tents? What brands and where might you have purchased them? Doing this perpetually is the ultimate way to go... buying quality seeds once and being able to grow from here to eternity is absolutely the most efficient way to go. <- This is my goal when space and time permits.

Speaking of large plants, check this out. It's a Thai Super Skunk in a DR100 (3x3) under my same 400 watt I'm using now, It stood over 6 1/2 feet tall (when up strait) and yielded over one pound dried!

nope - day 37 of veg! Getting ready to throw 4 of 9 into flower as soon as my 4x8 gets here. Thanks for the props... I'm such a newbie, this is my first grow.... 2 months ago, I couldn't tell you what a clone was... or what "bud" "mary jane" "dank" meant ....etc etc.... sooooo naive! But I'm in it now girl.... all in it and want a stellar harvest! ttyl.

hey kiki just dropped in to say hi & to offer my input on this slh a lot of people have said negative things about this stuff[hard to grow,turns hermie, nute sensative &so-on] this has been my easiest & best stuff yet [out of 8 grows] it pretty much is hassle free once its topped & fim;d & youve selected your pheno i now will never grow strait from seeds again ill plant first select my strongest & clone from there for me that works best

Agreed Herk - I have 5 total from seed, 3 of which are 38 dys into veg... and 2 more from seed only 10 days into veg. (pack of 5 seeds from greenhouse) - so I'm getting ready to take clones from one of the 3 that is 38 days into veg.... in about 2 more weeks, because it's the best out of them all.... I haven't heard about hermis... or hard to grow, but I have heard about sensitivity to nutes.... so far i've had no problems... but have been VERY careful not to burn any of my girls...I'm currently at 1/2 strenght on nutes right now... 38 days into veg... and you can see how well my girls are doing... but I'm also in FFOF soil... which makes a big diff because it's a "hot" soil. Anyway, thanks for the input.... always appreciated.

yeah i did a couple soil grows & youre right hydro is different & to me it seems easier as long as you keep ph. in check i use gh-floranova & tap water & rockwool for a medium growth rate is very good i veg 3 wks tops

okay family..... you all know I have 9 girls in the tent.... on veg day 38, in FFOF 1/2 strenght Sensi A and B.... hygrozyme, humboldt myco madness and humbolt roots at recommended levels. This plant is either burned or deficient.... I have no clue.... any input is appreciated. I'm under 1000w MH on 18/6 humidity running at 60-68% and temps are fine...ph at 6.5 going in and runoff water at 6.2-6.3.... all other 8 girls are absolutely fine and show no signs of this sh**!!!
So - let's hear it - what is it? I'm clueless as I'm still a newbie, and beause it's on the top leaves, and then you find some near the bottom leaves.... so it's not relative to the just the top or bottom of her... then you look at her pic and see how bushy and beautiful she is, until you lool up close and see these leaves.....

hey kiki, just checking in.. I wish I could help with you plant problem but I dont want to give you any misleading information. What I have done on this site for problems is to post images of the problem in a separate thread under plant problems and I have gotten some really good advise. Also I have tried to match up problem leaves with those in images in the Medical MJ bible by Jeorge Cervantes or in this site under plant problems, I believe there are some pictures in that thread . From my limited knowledge, as a guess, I would say its a nutrient deficiency or nutirent overkill. Keep us posted Im intreseted to see what the solution is.. good luck, she'll pull through..

Hey Kiki, first of all I would def look at what torn put in his first reply really good info..also Dr. Amber gave out some great advice too...I've had to do the same thing (ironically basically having the same problems as you) That being said (and you knowing this is my first grow) I can only give you my suggestions as to what may be wrong.

More than likely it's some sort of deficiency problem...I'm guessing MG only b/c that's EXACTLY how it started on one of my girls and I the other two were fine..for awhile. Your PH (too me anyway and again this might be my newbness) sounds a tiny bit low..that might be hindering the the absorption of MG to the plants though the soil from both your "Hot" soil and your Nutes.

It could be two other things which I don't think they are but one of them is real easy to test. The easiest to test would be see if it's Heat stress...they don't look like they're burned at all but just move the light up about 3 inches and see if that makes a difference.

The harder of those two would be nute burn but I know your pretty careful and I believe you are still only on half strength...in addition it's only affecting one of your girls so I doubt it but again just trying to give out helpful ideas at the very least.

IF it's a PH issue I'll tell you what has worked wonders for me..dolomite lime..I had put a ring around the diameter of my 12'' diameter pots and no more pH issues..in fact they're a tad high so be careful with that...You had talked about transplanting again..IF that's the issue I recommend mixing the lime in with the soil pre-transplant..if you can't do what I did and put a ring around the diameter of the pot and then cover it with some dirt...water thoroughly and you should be good too go..I noticed improvement within a day.

1000w is awesome... wouldn't go any other way.

TO- runoff ph is 6.1-6.2..... is 6.5 going in. and yeah - I'm freaking out like you do.
