Perlite? i am having a hard time finding bat guano or trying to explain to them what it is. The stores i have been to here, they dont speak english and i dont speak spanish. so i am flapping my arms like wings and start saying batman batman lol POOP! mierdad us spanish for shit, but they think im cursing at them saying SHIT, cause they look offended. So where do i find this perlite

You should be able to find perlite at just about any garden center. Wal-Mart, Home Depot, both of which are in PR, should carry perlite. As for the bat guano? You may need to order it off of the internet. You don't need much so a small bag of it should last you for a long time. Just about the only people using bat guano anymore are cannabis farmers like ourselves.

Why grow in an abanodned house? The walls will block valuable sunlight and it not like your gonna "hide" them any better in an abandoned house than you would somewhere in the forest. In fact the forest would be safer. people go exploring all the time and might wander in the house.

The sun hits inside very well. no blockage at all. It is very hard to access a forest in puerto rico. They have a rain forest here, too many trees covering the sun. The other forest is a state park. Too many trees there and way to far. they also have a dry forest, way further down south. None are suitable locations. The side of a road i guess would make sense. This is an island though, just very hard to find a good location. this house is perfect, i live in a dead end street. No noe is oging to wander by here to see this abandoned house. in puerto rico there are many. I will post pictures. there is grass on the cement floor. it si full of plant life. No one can see me coming inside, because i will do it at night. it is very dark back there. and it is easy to jump over my cement wall which is waist high.

english is their official 2nd language, i moved from away from the metro area. the further away the more their english dminishes. so far i found enough people speaking english, they understand me. they are just afraid of speaking it

Is the smell that strong from one plant? not many people walk by that house, only when they go to the church that is up the hill. I would put it in the backroom. I never mentioned there is a police man living across the street lol. He is hardly there, comes home from patrol and leaves again. he keeps to him self. I noticed in pr when i drive to the beach or stuff like that it always smells like weed. Maybe i should walk around there see if i find any plants.

I would advise against looking for other plots. Some people don't fuck around with rippers, and yes, the smell from a couple of plants can be VERY strong! It depends on the strain. It also depends how far away and which way the winds are blowing. I can't see what surrounds the house and can only go on what you tell us. If you think it is a perfect place, maybe it is. It doesn't sound ideal to me. It sounds a little bit dangerous TBH. What if the property changes hands or the guy decides to start working on the house again? What if some junky stumbles in there to shoot some H and finds your plot? Growing indoors may be a better option for you. If you are only growing for personal stash then look into some tents or grow boxes. You can easily build one to suit your needs. Some people do PC case grows with CFL's and are quite successful. Of course you'll need fans and odor control. Do you own or rent your place?
i am living with a sister, has kids. There are no junkies around here. junkies out here shoot up right on the corners, but they mainly hang around the town or the main road so they could ask for money. I live like on a mountain. I only plan on planting one plant, it is the short rider autoflower strain. I doubt after 8 or so years that the guy would want to continue to rebuild that house. That house is unlivable. He made the bedroom the size of a small bathroom. it is incredible how tiny he made it. I will experiment with one plant. if they find it, oh well, no way to prove its mine. I got the autoflower so it can grow faster. it says 44 days or something like that to flower.

I have no idea how strict the laws are in PR. It's your hide, so do what you want. The problem is an old acquaintance of mine named Mr. Murphy. You may know him as well. He has a habit of showing up when you don't want or expect him to, know what I mean? I was stationed in Italy, which isn't that different than PR, so I know what you mean about people building and abandoning houses. I've been to PR a few times so I'm a little bit familiar with the culture. It's much more laid back (except the driving part
). I brought an ounce with me to PR when I went down there for a class. I was amazed how easy it was to smuggle in. This was pre 9/11 though, but I digress. Back to Mr. Murphy for a minute. 8 years is certainly a long time for a property to sit vacant. That doesn't mean that someone isn't going to decide to do something with it at any time. And as my friend Mr. Murphy will tell you, they will probably decide to do something with it right about the time you're going to water or check on your plants. I know you say you're going to do it at night but that's no guarantee. I used to be a guerilla grower and have seen cops stake out a plot for weeks waiting for the grower to show up to tend his crop. They usually waited until right before harvest to begin staking out the grow. One plant is probably not worth anybody's time so you've got that going for you. Just be careful and use commone sense. If something doesn't feel right, you need to be able to walk away from that plant. One plant isn't worth getting pinched. Can you do that?

LOL for the driving! a blind person could drive better than these people. I get road rage everyday when people don't use their turn signal. Yeah i hear about mr. murphy. I watch the house night and day. Best thing is that there are so many strays and they are very protective around here and will bark at any one they don't recognize. They let me know when people are walking or driving by, they usallu let me know when people are a block up. That will keep any person busy until i jump over take my plant. Cultivation gets you 12 years here and if you get caught with any amount of weed its 3 years first offense 6 years 2nd offense, a lil harsh. these people need it legalized, they are too damn violent for their own good.

The path of the sun will change throughout the year, with the sun rising further to the south everyday after the equinox(or maybe summer solstice, I get confused). It may not be as extreme of a change since PR is so far south, I'm not really sure. In the states you always want southern exposure for late in the grow season(also may not matter because you have autos). Also as the sun moves further south, you can just move your plant to best suit them. Good luck, doesn't seem like there is much downside to this idea. Just don't get caught in that house tending to the plants.
thanks. I notice the position of the sun does not change much. it is always facing my bedroom window all year long. So i have a nice corner in that house where it will be exposed to sun throughout the day.
