dude, post more on ur grow room.. how did u install an exhaust hole?

krygor your not gonna wanna use any kind of clear container as light to the root zone will kill the roots also those cups are only gonna be able to hold a new plant for about a week so might as well spend the 60 cents per pot and get some to start in.

I will post pics later this evening when i have more time. My exhaust is basically a pc fan in the ceiling of the grow room and i connected it to some flex hose and then ran it to an outside wall to vent it outside. Then i just put another pc fan in the floor of the grow room for intake. But i usually have the door open on the grow room while the lights are on so i can have my fan blowing on the plants. I dont have room inside to place a fan in the room. It is pretty simple really. And yes, start your seeds in something bigger so you dont have to take the risk of shocking your plant when it comes time in a week or two for transplanting in bigger pots.

Hey if it works than it is cool enough for me. No seriously i will be changing the setup on my next grow. Just have to time it just right. I need to get more mylar to go all the way up the walls. But for the size of the plants it is just right. I am going out of town tomorrow and wont be back until Sunday evening so i hope they will all be alright while i am gone. I would hate to come back to dead plants.

Just a little tip for you and others...your vegging stage starts between 3rd-4th week of growing...the first couple of weeks is called seedling stage. flowering from such an early age is not the best thing to do, your bud would be better if you let the plant grow for 2 months at least, and then start to flower.
BUT...on the other hand they do look very nice. Keep up the good work.

I've heard 2 versions of this, 1 what you said, and the other that they start vegging straight away! Which one is true? I thought I had finaly solved it but your comment has confused me once again!
So by your meaning I should veg them for 7-8 weeks? To long man.

the ideal veg time for most canna plant is anywhere between 6-10 week BUT! it depends on your own needs, do you want a big yield? do you have the space for 4-10ft plants?do you have enough light? and do you have the willingness to wait that long!

That may be true, not sure- havn't researched it yet. I am pretty sure a WIDE majority including myself consider the Veg stage as soon as the plant pops from the ground because thats when it starts using the light to actually grow. It may be considered the "Seedling Stage" of the Vegetative state- however still Vegetating. I would consider following the Nute instruction for 3-4 weeks that call for "seedling stage" if your using distilled water and I wouldn't even follow that for 4 weeks... maybe two. It really depends on how big your grow cab is to determine on how long you should let them Veg. I have let my plants Veg going on 23 days today and this w/e I am turning over to flowering if I find the time to re-wire. I know if I let my plants VEG for 2 month I would be harvesting plants that were EXTREMELY large and my dresser doesn't allow for that.

Well i am going to be out of town for another day. I did raise the lights up as high as i could. Maybe 12-14 inches above the topps of the plants and the exhaust fan really helps with the heat. I don't think that it will hurt them this far into the grow. Well that is what i am hoping for. Plus i watered them right before i left and they usually only get watered about every third day so they should be fine on the watering end of things. I wont be getting home until tomorrow evening. I will post pics of them as soon as i get home.

OK, i just checked in on the plants and everything was perfect. I thought that the little AK in the cup would have been all wilted over and dead when i got home today. But it seems to be doing well. I will have pics posted this evening.

OK, here are a few pics from tonight. The first one is of one of the AK-47's. It is a really good looking plant for only being only 16 inches tall. I think i will be happy with these plants. The second pic is of Cagney. She is starting to look alot better as far as the size of buds are concerned. The third pic is of Lacy. She is still my favorite. I can't wait to try this bud. The last pic is a group shot.

To be honest, i only use Miracle-Gro Bloom Booster. I will be using molasses in the last couple weeks and then flush.

Here is just a couple pics from tonight before lights out. How much longer do you guys think these plants have to go before harvest. Like i said the are 40 days into flowering and i was thinking they would be done at around the end of Feb. But it might be sooner.

I have posted pics of the light setup. Nothing has changed in the lighting setup. And the exhaust fan is just a pc fan with a ducting connected and routed outside. I cant really get a pic of anything but the fan, That is all that is visible. Same thing for the intake. I should have taken pics while i was installing it all but i did not. Sorry. The 3rd and 4th pic from the other day you can see pretty much a view from outside of the room. You can pretty much see what room i have to work with. I am not posting any pics of the room on the outside due to security reasons. Their is some people out their that i cant trust and if they see it in detail then it won't be stealth anymore. In other words i know some people that get on here and they will recognise where it is in my house so i don't want to get ripped off. Sorry again
