Lookin Good! and fancy! I also have two grow tents i just bought 6x6x6, one is empty right now. and i just have uncooled 1000watts chillin with basic intake and exhaust running all the time, heat stays 75 to 79 degrees all the time, but my humidity level is very high at night time, do you or anyone know the best size of dehumidifier and cheapest for this size of tent?

Won't your exhaust take down humidity to an acceptable level? Dehumidifiers require substantial cooling - if that is an issue. They are power hogs too, and should be run on a dedicated circuit (just like an AC) Dehumidifiers are AC's with heaters. A 35 - 70 pint household model will do the trick for you. You can get a Kenmore at Sears for around $200. The 'fancy' solution would be to use an inline dehumidifier on the intake port (outside the tent). Have you tried adding an intake fan? This will dramatically increase your exchange rate. Try it - this usually does the trick.

So far so good - they seem to be adjusting to the new crib!

Yes - the trays are just to catch the runoff and the dirt and stuff... They are small and easy to clean and move, yet big enough to get some work done. They are Botanicare 2 x 4 propagation trays. You can now get em in black for less, but I like white for a couple bucks more. These were hand me downs from my mentor - and I've since used em many times in a variety of ways. I also like the 2 x 2 tray from Botanicare.

Yeah - basements are the mostest moistest! haha Basements can be damp sometimes. When you can, if you can possibly setup an intake fan pulling air in from outside, your humidity problems will be gone. If you do have to intake from within the basement - draw the air in through 10 foot of ducting with a vent fan mounted on the ceiling of the basement; the natural change in air pressure from air forced through the ducting will help to dry the air before entering your tent.

Basement mix from Royal Gold contains Perlite. I added an additional 33% to further increase aeration.

Wetting the soil that will be in direct contact with the roots.

Getting the right depth on with your back fill is critical.

Setting the soil and marrying the media with AN Organic B1 at 10ml/gallon, along with 5ml/gal SS grow, PH 6.0.

It's been 1 day since I transplanted the first 16 to their final containers. I'm always concerned about transplanting; it is one of the delicate stages of the plant cycle. I am happy to report that all is well and the plants seem to be thriving.

The remaining 8 in Solo cups are really looking good too! I want to finish these in another zone - truly using nothing but extra equipment this time! I will talk about that in a future post titled "The Garage Classic Config".

They weren't first string, but perhaps they should have been. 4 Solo cup 'culls' occupy center row in each tent.

I moved the lights to 18/6 today, to prep for the flip to 12/12 on Valentine's Day (and it's getting hot during the day now). The pictures in this post were taken at night!

I found a zone to place the 8 "runts" that are still in Solo cups. It will be quick and dirty --- no, make that quick and clean! It is a bathroom, with a lovely 5 x 5 foot area next to the tub. For this zone, I will truly use existing equipment I have sitting around. I love setting up new zones. I must turn this one in one day! Yeah.

Here are the before pics. Check back shortly, and I will post the finished product. (sorry about the cell phone shots)

When I saw the entry way, I knew this place would work!

The only window will have to house both intake and exhaust. I'm not allowed to drill holes in the walls or ceiling in this zone.

This will serve as the work area - nice to have running water and a drain right in your zone.

The main dance floor is a 5 x 5 foot area with 8 foot ceiling, and tiled floors.

This seems pretty straightforward to convert to a decent zone. Stay tuned to see what I can do in 24 hours.

I finished the new zone today, and transplanted the 8 last Solo cups to 7" square Hydrofarm pots. All were root bound with swirling roots in the bottom and most of the media converted to roots! I didn't get any plant shots tonight, but I will soon.

The only way in and out of this "no holes" zone.

I used existing parts for this zone. No animals harmed or equipment purchased.

There's room for two of these trays in this area. I will start with one.

Life has been busy. I pushed off my flower a couple days in the DualTent zone to prepare and move the extra girls to the Bathroom zone. I will start 12/12 in the tents today and veg the other 8 in the bathroom for another 2 weeks... or so. I need those 8 to fill out a 5 x 5 area.

Many plants have become nice little bushes with a crown of shoots around the center.

I thought they would stretch into the light more by now. They should be closer to the light. I'm wasting some lumens here. The lights are a headache to lower, but I can raise the trays somehow; on my to do list.

The tents are looking OK. I was too light on the last feed, and then the weather changed and things got humid and cold. The plants could be closer to the light too! I expected them to stretch more. If this is Skywalker OG, it definitely has more Indica in her than the SFV OG cut I am used to.

The plants have been out of their comfort zone a bit and you can see the change just a little stress has caused. Still looking good, but I'm getting some purple stems. These cuts all came with super purple stems; due in part to the genetics but more because of stress from rooting and the lack of nutrients during that time. I had most of them greened up, but now they look a little tired and I can see the purple coming back on some. I wanted to feed last night, but the media was too wet and I knew another rainy day was coming. I will hit em tonight regardless to get back on track.

No need for major concern here, I just decreased my final outcome by a small percentage. I am still really happy with the plant and root structure and all new growth (lots of shoots forming a nice crown on most plants) is green. I will get them back on track - though I wish they were in a bit better order to go to flower. I'm picky, I know!

I still seem to have a couple different strains or cuts from different mothers of SkyWalker, but I am starting to see how they could be the same! We shall see... Different parts of the same Mother plant will offer different looking cuts. This fact, coupled with the change that environment can have on the look of a plant, may account for the variation. Again, we shall see! haha I love them all.
