New to hydroton the advise I'm looking for is how long do I water for and how many times a day. Got the plants in 3 gals containers. Have read and been told that the yield and buds will be better. Peace and Thanks

if flooding the buckets and there 3 gal, flood them three time during lights on
so first flood at lights on and secound one ant the halfway point and third time right before lights off.

With hydroton you can flood as many times as your plants will allow without showing over watering. I run for 5 min every 2 hours while lights on giving your plants fresh food and oxygen every time.

With brand new clones in my hydroton, I flood my two gallon buckets 6 times a day for the first week or so. Than I start taking away one watering at a time. Once they're developing roots well and healthy from the transplant shock, I get them down to three 15 minute floods....one just after lights on, one in the middle of the 18 hrs on, and one before lights out.
For flower, they get two....one an hour after lights on, and one an hour before lights out. They get one one feed during the last two weeks...they really dont need much water at the end. Have fun.

I cant remember, I used to use it for bugsrinme when he was being a tool.
