What? for it to get moldy? couple of days. I used the kit but the media doesn't work for our favorite plant. I've been doing it successfully for about a year now.

It isn't that bad, i get a failure rate of about 20 percent usually, this round it is closer to 50 but it isn't a big deal. I only need a few.

You are looking at a 5 month old micropropagation plantlet - a plantlet that hasn't had roots for 5 months being infested with what I suspect is mushroom mycelium. The poor thing was due to have her roots attached in less than two weeks.
