hey just wondering what you guys think of miricle grow. the blue stuff with all the foamy bubbles. seems to work good for vegging but i dunno about using it for flowering cause the bubbles, what are the bubbles it looks like soap.

The blue stuff works fine as long as you don't overdo it. I used 1 SMALL scooper per gallon and had no probs. MG also puts out a bloom nute that I used with success as well. It is a purple color. Make sure you get a good flush and harvest before lights on so excess nutes are still in the roots.

These are my first harves, using ALL MG soil, perlite, and nutes.

i would not use miracle gro. google a hydroponic shop near your place, even if you have to drive far (i drive an hour).. but they have the best selection of soils, pots, nutes, supplies.. and usually the people that work there will answer your questions. but don't go and ask something like 'what makes my weed taste the best' say something like 'what i'm workin on was just put into flower cycle, and i was wondering what good organic options you have as far as nutrients and vitamins' ya know.. like a headshop, you don't walk in and say 'let me see that big bong' they know what you're talkin about, just keep it simple.. i recommend roots organics products, organic gem, anything organic. i believe thats def the way to go.. hope that helped..

..your pics look nice, but i wouldn't wanna smoke anything grown with miracle gro, personal preference i guess

Understood. I used it for my first simply bc I knew how(been veggie gardening for years) and it was cheap. I have since switched to the FF trio, but had shitty results. I can't blame the FF though because I moved right at the beginning of flower and had trouble(temp/humidity/lightleaks) with my new room. I now have the room dialed in and am going to give the FF a fair shot. As for the MG, I am under the impression that (N) is (N) and (P) is (P) and (K) is (K) but that MG used chelated salts to aid in nutrient uptake, which in turn can set you up for nute lock.

PS: Thanks for the comps on the pic, but the goal is to grow something EVERYONE wants to smoke. That's the reason I switched nute lines bc even though I had good success with MG, your opinion is widespread.
