started 3/27/11 with 1 blueberry 1 sour cream and 1 bubblegummer
3/29 planted blueberry #1 in AG sponge, also started germing c99 hydrid and kannabia

4/4/11 sour cream #1, c99 hydrid, bubblegummer and kannabia still have not split there seed.
germed sour cream #2, blueberry #2 and grapefuit

which brings me to today:
-blueberry #1 is doing well i hope, 9 days, although i hope i didnt get the flaky crackly pheno iv heard about, pheno that tends to go hermy and a bitch to grow, it kinda looks like it, check pics below let me kno what u think!
-blueberry #2 is poking its head up and should have her first set of leaves in a couple days
-sour cream #2 and grapefruit arent showing any moves upward out of sponge. both seeds cracked and had 1/4 taproot.... confused..... pics below.

edit: i believe what i did wrong was i didnt place the seed far enough down into the sponge..

15 days. roots was long enough to transplant. one blueberry is left. she looks unhealthy no nutes in the water yet she looks nute burnt. my tap is 350ppm i believe thats whats causing it. i left the 5 gallon bucket filled and adjusted the ph over night, this morning before the transplant i check ph, it was good. also checked ppm and it dropped down to 270-280. hopefully she will get better!!! no nutes until she starts to green up!! any advice people please any info thoughts anything would be greatly welcomed!!

started to feed her 1/2strength nutes. im using gen hydro micro gro bloom. gave a little more micro like 3/4, i think she needs it. will be keeping a close eye on the new growth in next couple days. hopefully shell get better
edit: got some advice in another thread that all she needed was food

Do your self a favor and yank that bitch now..LOL I took my freebie and grew a giant beautiful but lanky sativa looking lady. well after babying her and spoiling her that bitch sure enough turned herm and sprouted bananas overnight...rubbed out the ones i sw but some small ne hidden in the young budds shit pollen all over the room..not bad if you that she looked and smelled great but too young to tell and sativa looking to boot...wish i had threw that damn seed out right away instead...

LMAO! that would have me pissed! well at this time i only have one plant so she/he wont mess up any other ladies. im just hoping for the best, if anything its good practice to teach myself to pay attention to the plant. my first grow, easy ryder, i had relatively no problems, good clean smoke. spoiler she turned hermy how long into flower?

Four weeks in just enough to get all excited...thought to fight the war but only lasted another week so she got 5 weeks total in flower not including the two weeks she did not indicate but stretched like a beast ...smells sweet aftr drying but t really too young to judge fairly to b honest..she did fertilize a nice critical maas and maybe that will work out good afterall...I love blueberry so was very disappointed to be truthfuloooh well curing now so we will see could be butter or oil if nothing else..plus the hundreds of seeds she is yielding lol incredible what two pollen sacs can do

not enough nutes. and horrible tap water. fixing both asap. just got me a water filter that is soaking for 15 min and already changed res with nutes. gonna change the res again with the filtered water and nutes shortly.

i chose hydro because of the Aerogarden. lol. i knew absolutely nothing about growing and saw a youtube video with someone growing in a AG. i bought it and then i started this hobby, no, its more of an obsession i have with growing. i loved watching my babies grow up, loved the smell, loved the maintenance( not so much for this lady!!) and loved the smoke. funny thing about it all is i dont smoke like i used to, multiplt multiple times a day, i only smoke like a few times a month now. so for me to pick up this now is kinda defeating its purpose. but i dont care, i love it! now i want to become a caregiver eventually when i get more skilled and more familiar with different strains and what works and what doesnt. and when i have more space, i bought a 400mh and 600hps that i cant use due to the noise the fans make and the smell thats gonna come from that many plants. (i live in an apartment, someone on top and beside me).

lol sorry i just rambled on there, but to answer ur question hydro just seemed easier to maintain. but i def will be trying some soil organic grows in the future.

yea man i heard the same thing about rainwater. i live in an apartment with to much going on outside to keep a bucket outside. someone will probally take that shit lol. i lived the hood, where im at is not the hood by any means but urban enough that if u leave something outside unattended, it will be gone lol

i do know that getting the blueberry to grow in a medium other than organic soil is not so easy
