I like that this guy let you know up front that there will be "no" relationship. I don't buy into the reason, but at least he let you know in the beginning. I don't see driving an hour to see someone special as a reason for not getting and being more seriously involved. I have had jobs where I drove over an hour one way on a daily basis. Then you say that there will be other dates, long distance relationships don't work, but he still wants to see you when he can. Doesn't sound right to me, tread carefully.

Msbbb Is right! Not going to lie, in my younger days I did the same thing (3 times)! A guy saying "lets just be friends" usually means They do just want to be friends and won't try to get your pants off or are just saying it to make you want to take them off to get him to stay! People do crazy thing to get the other one to stay around. Hate cock blocking another guy but if he says you are just friends DO NOT sleep with him! It will only lower his opinion of you! I'm waiting for my 25 or younger self to show up and kick my ass for telling you that!

There is nothing wrong with being honest by letting your intentions be known, I wish more people did that. What we do with that information is another matter. Some of us women think that our stuff is so good that once at man gets it, that alone will change a man's mind. Not so, that only works on a few men or those that are truly in love. You are also right NoGutsGrower, men can be masters when it comes to getting sex. Don't worry about kicking yourself in the butt, she's not going to listen anyway. which is a definite "line in the sand" that you want to consider carefully before stepping over... especially if YOU really like the guy.
