First Time Auto ak-47 Grow

never grown before, some advice would be nice,
starting this grow from day 10,
5 seedlings, sprouted 10/5
2 x 125w cfls, closet, potting soil / horse manure mix

Nice setup man, and plants are looking good. The advice: light are meant to be more effective when you put them horizontally instead of vertically as you have them. Good luck with the grow mate

thanks for the tip, what should i use to mount them horizontaly? would tie-wraps work?

my seedlings seem to be a bit small for their age,
day 12 now and they havent grown much more,
more pictures tomorrow, cant now as lights are off (20/4 schedule)

...looks like your off to a good veg. Setting up reflectors for those lights wouldn't hurt

PS...you won't interupt your veg light schedule, you can leave the lights on 24/7 if need be, with no ill effects.

...some have a little yellowing on the tips,
first appeared on around day 6 but hasn't gotten worse since then,
should i be doing something to fix this?

you should be ok but no nootes until they are like 2 to 3 weeks old i usually wait till i get my 7 blade leafs looking nice keep it up

ive been a member on RUI for years and now that ive finally started growing
i thought id start actually getting involved instead of reading everyone elses grow journals for a change
quick question, do you think ill be ok with those pots?

hello everyone,
just a quick update,
all plants are between 2-3 inches just starting their 3rd set of leaves,

temps 26 C (79F) lights on
20 C (68F) lights off

watering every other day
( guesswork mostly when it comes to how much, advice on this would be appreciated)
plants look pretty healthy, tiny yellow tips on this first leaf set on 2 of my plants and the edges are ever so slightly bending up.....
have been giving them tap water since germination,
only started letting water sit out to evaporate chlorine today ( didnt know about this before)
tested runoff with universal indicator paper, cant tell ph exactly but its around 6.7-6.9

Bro with cfls u should only be maybe 4-5 inches away and for 5 p,lants it might not be enough...I gave mine floranova grow from day 7-8 (haze autos, syrup deimos white dwarf)Now on day 44 and ppm is at 1025 with floranova bloom have 3-4 weeks left and there rocking atleast 26 inchs tallest about 36 had to bend to cola on that one to get it back down under my 600w quatum..Mine at day 18 were atleast 14inches tall with prolly 6-8 alot of braches and nice node tightness..Point being givem food light tho at first...Do u have a PPM meter??I would have it be maybe 250ppm then next week 400 up to maybe 800 durning veg then go up to maybe 1250 during flowering up alittle each week till u hit 1250 of cousre..GL bro...JMO
