Fair enough. Im still going to try - but thats a good question to put out there - Is marijuana as Profitable as people say it is? Does anyone out there actually know of any one/ became rich themselves by growing marijuana?

randomseed nailed it. You need to be a good grower before you leave. Cart before the horse.... You are asking for veg times and yield, all depends on what you are doing. Typical veg is 1 month or less, I am doing 7 weeks. Yield depends on strain and enviro factors, light, nutes, ventilation etc. In general 1 gram per watt is considered real good results.
Michigan sounds better, I am in Cali btw. Everyone is growing and they want only a few strains at the clubs. You have to have exactly what they want when they want it. You will be catering to mostly under 30 year old males at the clubs, with no physical probs, and they want the latest greatest tastiest.... The clubs are a farce, med scene in general, and this scene will not continue for much longer.
A lot of Cali growers export their weed out of state, so they are criminals of course. Outdoor is considered crap and often goes to other states. I grow for myself and considered growing for the clubs, but not worth it for me.

it sounds like you know the seen i to usto do the clubs the raids you LOOSE fronts YOU LOOSE clubs shut down YOU LOOSE you got thripes you loose you get mold you loose if you dont handle it on tym some strains r hard to get n sometymes thats all that keeps u alive dont loose them. everyone out hear does it...... LOOK I DID IT n i wish i didnt im moven back to arizona i say the news the hipe man it made me loose alot of fucken money i mean alot so if you can trouble shoot n make a good fucken room like yesum sead u might but most clubs got their people. good luck...... i just get a job n grow whats required for shits n gigles. thats the best way to go.... or follow ur heart u might be the next big thing...... but just b carefull it isnt what u think.

Hey - my boyfriend and I (him 23, me 21) live in Philadelphia, PA. My lease is up in August and we are thinking it might be extremely profitable - plus extremely fun to move out to Cali and start to grow pot indoors. We need some advice from all of you out there to help us make such a major decision as to whether or not it would be a good idea to move across the country to start growing Marijuana. We are both daily smokers and have a passion for all things "420". Is it as ridiculously profitable as we have heard/ read about, how much profit could one expect to make growing 15 plants indoors? Where would be the best place in Cali to move to? How much is the typical startup cost to grow 10 plants, 15 plants, 20 plants... etc? Any other tips or advice you could give would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!

Yeah our budget is probably around $5,000-$6,000 we want to grow indoor in soil most likely. Never grown before but reading up on it as we speak. Just bought 2 How To guides from the bookstore.

yea you really need to learn how to grow before considering this move in all honesty. if your not a good grower you most likely wont sell anything here, or will get paid next to nothing if you manage to find a buyer.

before you go packing up all your belongings,
you should do at least 4-5 grows so you can get a feel for it.
growing isnt for every one,
you need to go through some of the regular issues yourself like mites,thrip deficiencies and know how to handle these things before contemplating becoming the next pablo escabar.
buy your setup read all you can, the grow bible as mentioned previously is a excellent place to start.

i dont mean to bust your bubble but 10-15 grand would probably be more likely for you not to stuggle
you first need a place (800-2000 a month inlcuding bills)
then need to set up your indoor system this could be cheap but you wont get a huge yield only enough to hold you 2 like 500
or a 4 light which will get you a good amount of wait could be like 3000 and could possibly yield pounds just depends on if you know what you are doing or not
you will need jobs to keep some moneys coming in for food and what not

Marijuana Horticulture the indoor/outdoor MEDICAL growers bible by Jorge Cervantes. says it was copyrighted 2006 but info in book looks a little old i have this on hand always. its a need to buy book no joke. i say fuck sellin to clinics. they want the best absolute amazing buds this and that but o i wanna pay only this...... i was like fuck that my time and effort is worth more ima smoke it and i walked..... best thing to do is learn the basics at least get a little grow op going like i mean little just to see whats up with growin. get a couple compact fluorescent lights and try it that way. its not going to come out lookin in magazines the first time but you will learn a shit ton. and now im just flowering 3 bebes and veging 5. its not toooo hard people well i guess i have a green thumb but if you want the best it cost money and even if you make money on your first harvest i put it right back into my grow room. im weird im always trying to add new things and get everything to MY perfect environment.
