How is it that one cannot get high the first time you smoke? Does anyone know why exactly? There are countless members who wish to know the same.
How could you not get high?

No, the first time I ever smoked, I did not get high at all. It wasn't until like the 3rd smoke that I felt something. Strangely this actually happens to alot of people. I am curious as to why.

also going and listening to 'a childs garden of grass' they explaine why people dont get high the first time and they even have suggestions to remedy the problem

I think everyone gets high the first time it's just they don't know what it feels like. I've seen several people who have claimed to not be high but it was plainly obvious they were. I've seen people on weed, coke, & even acid all say the same thing, flying high as a kite and not a clue. One guy was sitting on one of the big ass propane tanks that sit in your yard yelling I'm riding a bull for what must have been 45 min. then gets down and begins to complain that he isn't feeling anything. I think people get in the way of them selves be it from fear, confusion, excitement or whatever. just my 2 cents.

I got someone high for the first time ever like a yr ago while I was hot boxing it with a friend. He was only 18...but I thought he could handle it. So we are smoking away and the dude says hes done. My friend and I smoked for 10 more min or so, next thing you know hes jumping out of my car projectile barfing all over the car next to me. Haha. He said he didnt get high at all.

And where is the scientific evidence supporting this? Nothing personal, but I really do hate it when people come up with stuff like this without facts to back it up. I see the logic, but I'm sure this is unfounded. THC is a psychoactive drug meaning it reacts with brain receptors...it's not attacking anything so I don't think it has anything to do with immune systems. If it did, people would eventually not get high anymore because they become immune to it. Remember tolerance and immunity are not the same thing. I say if you didn't get high it was probably because it was some low grade, you weren't inhaling or were not holding the smoke in long enough to be effective.
Yea this does happen.. the first two times i smoked i didn't get high at all maybe it was dirt shit maybe i didn't take a big enough hit i cant really say what causes you to not get high the first time but the 3rd time i smoked wow i was so fucking ripped i was laughing uncontrollably and i was walking from end to end of my house i don't know why it just seemed like something fun to do at the time.. ahh memerys that was a good 6-8 years ago now.. only thing i can sum up from not getting high the first time or two is that mabey your hit wasent big enough.. i know when i first smoked i was thinking this shits probley strong lets not overdo it.. i dont care how good your immue system is if you take a big enough rip your gonna get tanked so only thing i can attrebute to it is not a big enough hit

some of yall might think im lying but i assure you i am not. When I was 17 I told my friend to smoke with me.. he didnt get high at all... then finally after smoking with him 10 times he finally got sooooo high.. and no its not that he " was high and didnt know it" thats just plain dumb.. but 10 different times!!! man those were the good old days..
