I have all indicas and 7-8 week flowering strains. I am from cali my question is what is the earliest date i can harvest? Most plant are riped with amber by the first week of october. I wanna cut early becuase i am fighting with time, gonna move soon like before october.

Middle of October is when they are typically ready. But that's with the more typical 12 week flowering plants. 7 or 8 weeks, probly good to go end of September

Early August. Think last year I first saw flowering around the 10th. Didnt really pick up a good head of steam for a few weeks after that

Depending on where you are, early to mid august you will see buds, i wouldn't pick them before at least 6 weeks with the indicas, and honestly the earliest i would say is the second - third week of september cheers, check out my grow if your inclined :)

Isn't pineapple express auto-flower? I know the Barney's farm is auto, bubba tends to flower early, my rule of thumb is sativa's show buds later, indicas show them earlier, all in the genetics and light hours.

there all hybrids and my pineapple is not auto, i was just given dude a example of the way nature works ( does its own thing ) and its kinda funny to me too because i know if i vegg then under 24hrs lighting any lighting under 16 will cause flowering but considering these have been outside since day 1 the earth axis and rotation and angel of the dangel must be off like the smart people say at least my plants agree im sure all mine will shoiw in a few days

What do you mean about the 16 hours? I've never heard of that? Please explain I love learning more about this wonderful plant! But yeah outside i tend not to count me eggs until they have been laid and nature is a weirdd thing

well 12/12 is the best for flowering but if you veg your plants at 24hrs, then you can flower with 16 hrs of light and 8 hrs of darkness but why its a waste of power and money and no added yeild or potency, one use is some growers veg inside 24hrs for a few weeks then flowers outdoor and can flower 3-4 cycles per season like this ive only seen it done with clones never seeds. using outside as the flower room and inside as the vegg room but u cant spoil the vegging plants inside have to use passive ventellation. more or less a plant well flower with 8 or more hours of darkness

Ah I see, now i get you, yeah i hear that when you do harvests like that the buds fade in potency though, good points nonetheless.

I do not believe this. Flowering is based on a build up of hormones during the dark cycle. Lights on these hormones are destroyed. A tipping point much be reached to initiate flowering. 16/8 is on the outside of the bubble. 14/10 maybe in some strains. And I have Pine X plants outdoors that are pre-flowering like crazy, just not flowering yet.

watchhowIdoit do u know what happens if i put the i before the o in Idoit (Idiot), If u dont know something u should not say that a person is wrong or that im telling lies, in ur own words preflowering like crazy thouws are bud sites your plant is flowering preflowers are only at internode, the other pistols and groups of leaves are flowers not preflowers and ive never seen ur plant watchhowididthat!!!!

No you have not seen my plant. I never said it was throwing hairs everywhere. You ASSumed that. Never called you a liar, yet another ASSumption on your part. I just said I didnt believe it. I know what preflowers are and my plant is not flowering or forming bud sites. And just because you veg under 24 hrs of light does not change a plants dark requirements to flower. Your the Idiot. And I have a feeling a Punk Idiot at that.

Yes if u veg under 24 hrs and drop the light to 16 or less they will flower no doubts or assumptions. How does a plant prefer like crazy witch has nothing to do with light cycles 2 hairs per node pretty crazy for some I guess I may be a punk idiot but I can grow and I know my shit and will call be on u and I only did because it was a pun on if name lol or fuck off idc

Yeah, I was gonna say, you just leave the plants outdoors and let nature do it's thing. We can't control the sun's light cycle
