why not, would it kill the plant ? i have dwarf plant growng and the main top cola looks ready but the shit on the sides dont. Would it be possible for me to cut a bit of the top off ??????

Tie it down a little bit, if it's too tall. Don't break it this far in to flowering. You might be able to tie it a little lower every couple of days or so, but be careful.

no. Most people top a plant to provide more bud sites and at 5 weeks, it's too late for that.

Yes, you can absolutely harvest the top and let the rest grow but be aware that if the plant is matured the stuff not getting light could very well just never develop or be over ripe by the time it does. With a dwarf, you are usually only growing the 1 main cola anyway though. Got a pic? What are u using for light?

If the top cola isn't ready yet I would not cut it just to top. It's probably your most productive cola.

i'm using a 600w hps. yeah the lights an issue as i have 4 plants in a nft system and 3 are dwarfs and the other one is normal and has grown out of control so it all looks very compact and i know thats not good for the plants but its my first real grow so i know for next time. also, do you know, if i was to take the big one out would that mess with the others ( because the roots may all be connected ? )

are they all in the same pot or something?? if they are i wouldnt fuck around. get a couple cfls if you have to and put them on the smaller plants
