its not a grow room its a 2x2x3 grow box but its not cardboard.
is ther anything besides a dehumidifier to get rid of humidity.
LOL hmmm i've never encountered this before. Try fansnamely exhaust fans to pull the moisture out. Also a dry t-shirt hanging might catch air laden moisture just make sure its far from your lights.
This is another point. The high humidity means you might be at risk of electrical fire. Id take care of it soon like.
no nothing like that but i just took it out of my lizzard tank today like 10min ago and was like hmmm wonder if it would tell me the humitidy of the grow roo m and the lizzard tank was around 50ish % in humitidy and then i put it in my grow room came back and it was reading around 80ish in the grow space. so i left the door open and it whent up to 100% so i closed it and came and made a post lol.May or may not be accurate. I am pretty sure it would feel like someone hit you with a wet air rag.
k thats what i was thinking and i figured come on here and get a 2nd person saying something close to what i thought. My guess is you need to check again and if its still 100% and the air doesnt feel pysically wet when you open it its gotta be wrong.
You said you have a Lizzard tank?
I'm not sure, But i think if you take your finger, and rub it on the insides of the tank, you'll be able to feel how much moisture is in there... Just keep an open space, and let your humidity flow out
whats that mean then0% humidity thats a whole different problem then ahh?
dude, put the gauge outside, then check the weather channel.
I've tried 3 different manual gauges and never found a single one that was accurate. Even when I went to digital I still have found pretty big variances. One of my damn meters read 43%ish when it was 80% or so. Caused damn grey mould.
No no. He is saying his gague was wrong and the humidity was 80% which caused the mold.
Id say 40-60 range. Im not a perfectionist on readings though. The plant is going to grow regardless unless you supremely biff it.
