glass mason jars are the best to use IMO. those are made for canning stuff and are air thight. everything else that i used just wont hold. even with small amounts of bud in a med container it will dry out in a few days.

i dried my last crop in two small plastic buckets and they were doing fine until the smoke was gone... can somebody give me scientific reasons to use glass over other air proof containers ??

I saw your post on another page and followed the link, I really like the grow you did , I am thinking of doing the same myself now!! Not sure on what strain to use ,
I have very similar set up 100x100x200 tent . I have a few more plants than you used so I might do half and half strain wise, Ak47 x jackherer and Violator kush . The method
you used, Do you cut everything that came over the screen except main cola's or just cut anything over the screen and then let it rip during flower ?
On my answer to your question , Some people prefer to use glass jars as people think that the plastic like in zip locks (or buckets in your case !!) Can effect the
flavour or taste of the smoke. I never had a bucket of weed before ( iwish) so I cant really say for sure but I have always used canning jars (ones with rubber seals used for jams) as they are easy to burp , cure and store away and keep it really fresh , Thats just my 2 cents worth !!

I used plastic jars with screw on lids. I think they were rubbermaid.. They worked good. After a 3 week cure my shit was dank, stinky and very tasty.

going to study some more about it later on..

You didn't top the plants either? Those branches were all so even, wondering how you kept the main cola from growing higher than the rest of the branches? I am definitely thinking of trying this SCROG method after seeing this.

Hey dude, another link-follower here. Nice budz man, the greens are so pretty . I too am using a 600w HPS for flower, but I have 9, 5 gal hempy buckets that I am using in a 3x3 tray, and using T12's and a bubbleponics for veg. Not happy with my t12 veg growth, so probably will switch to t5's next grow.
