Do not top them and such things after you switch them. I usually try not to do any cutting or topping for at least a week before I flip them.
Plant grew too tall and got burn't. D'oh.

Plants can not up take sugar or mollasses and that kind of crap through the leafs. All you are doing is coating your plant in a sticky mess. Mollasses and these things can only be up took from the soil if there is the correct micro orginism in that soil to break it down for the plant to take it in. Other then that, it is just a big waste of time.

Busted, I just checked out your photo on post #1. HAHAHA. THat SOB is going to take over that space in a big way.
About 3 years ago. I germed 6 seeds. I had real bad luck, out of those 6 seeds I only got one female. Even once it showed sex, it would not explode with bud growth. It just kept growing and growing and growing. I had my light stuck to the 8' ceiling and had the plant bent over at 4' @ about a 45 degree angle. This plant went a crazy amount of time before it finally was harvested. I bet all in all, it was 10' in total is stood up straight. Big plants can be very hard to handle and control. I would highly suggest you try not to allow your plants to grow over 24" before you flip them.
I would take your plant and cut it about 20" down. About 4" down below where it gets bushy. Then wait for about 12-14 days and flip it to flower.
I have to say this. That plant looks Happy and healthy.

I'm not going to cut my plants. Once I have established which plants are male and have eliminated them, I will have more space and will begin LSTing. I imagine the tallest plant (which right now seems to be hermie - it definitely has some female flowers, but some of the preflowers look a bit male) will be bent all the way back down to the pot. The reason I'm not going to just chop off the top is because 1 - they are already in flowering, and 2 - I'm interested in seeing if I can make it work with LST

Hahaha exactly, that's what I'm doing. There's strings going everywhere in my closet right now.
By the way, I think all of my plants are female. All six. I dunno how, but they are. I guess I'm magic.
