Can you smoke premature flowers?

I have autos that are 55 days old from seed and I had to chop them down. I kept the flowers and was hoping to smoke them. Of course, I discarded the fan leaves because they aren't any good when it comes to smoking. Obviously the flowers are premature but will they get me high or is it a waste of time trying to cure them? Any help will be appreciated.

autos don't have much thc in them to begin with so it's hard to say unless you smoke it. Usually early harvested bud lacks flavor and potentcy not to mention weight. TRY IT. it won't hurt ya except if its waaay green. I might give you a headache with no psychoactive effects at all

Alright, thanks. I'll give them a shot. I made a few mistakes with the grow, plus, I'm on felony probation and can't afford to get caught. So I decided to scrap the operation and try again some time in the future when I'm not on probation. Better yet moving to a state that has more laid back laws would be better. I cut them down this morning. There were five of them. Here's a few pics. One of the mistakes I made was cutting all the fan leaves off at 35 days. Then I was gone for five days and didn't water and some of the lower flowers turned brown. However, they did grow 4-5 new sets of fan leaves on top and they still flowered pretty well. Had I been able to keep them going for the remaining 35 days they probably would have looked way better. Oh, if you're wondering what type the plant is, they are easy riders from Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds. Lastly, I used 7 CFLs for the 5 plants. I put 5 on top and two on the side for side lighting. Not bad, huh, for a first grow with some major mistakes and CFLs?

Your ladies haven't "nugged up" yet mate.

There is hardly anything to smoke there.
Unless you want to smoke fan leaves and stems.

Looks like your plants need at least 4-6 weeks more of flowering.

try two months at the very least :)

He said that the plants were 55 days old from seed.
Therefore they are perhaps 25 days into flowering.
And if he would only give them 4-6 more weeks they would be "smokeable".

2 months at the very least would mean he could keep growing anyway which is what he doesn't want to.

*yes you can, just might not be a pleasant smoke or high, but it works :) , curing will help.

I love the bullshit flying around here... you are speaking out of your ass.. period. There are plenty of autos that put out GREAT smoke, I just smoked some BCN Diesel... and ive been feeling great for 4 hours now.

No I don't..
Which is why I posted what I did to him....
He had already stated that he has cut the plants down.. Maybe you should read the first post again.

Giving the plants another 4-6 weeks would at least give him something to smoke other than fan leaves and stems (as I've already said).

Yea, they probably would have filled out much more if I could have kept them going for another 4-6 weeks. As stated earlier I had to cut them do to my circumstances. I'm drying them right now and plan on smoking them A.S.A.P. I'll let you know how the smoke turned out. I guess at this point I'd smoke a stem if I had too. What I mean is I put a lot of time, energy, and money into my grow and as such I feel this overwhelming urge to smoke them even if it is futile. Yea, there weren't really any buds perse, but on the bright sidethere were flowers. It's funny how when you think you're a major stoner and you know everything about weed, you really don't. Growing weed makes you ask the necessary questions to get you to the next level. Before I started growing I thought I could smoke any leaves on the plant and get high. Who would have known these plants need to veg and flower.

It's interesting how you will take your grow down to avoid getting caught but you'll smoke weed which is a violation and might get you thrown back. IDK I'm just sayin

You're not getting a lic. in Ca. with a felony. Sorry

Alright, so, I cured the leaves in an oven at 175-200 degrees to speed up the process. Though the auto flowers were premature at 55 days old, the smoke was a little on the harsh side but overall pleasant enough and it did get me high. It wasn't super potent or anything but it worked. It was nice to get some kind of reward and I didn't have to walk away with nothing. So, yes, you can smoke premature flowers and still get high.
