Day 12 Flowering, Serious wilt and yellowing! :(

Hey everyone, I was wondering if this is normal or something is seriously wrong!

I got 3 plants and they went into 12/12 lighting 12 days ago. Around the 9th day of flowering, after starting to show buds at all the sites, the lower 1/4 - 1/3 of each plant pretty much completely wilted/drooped, yellowed, and then died.

I've been going through all the possibilities in my head but the thing is the symptoms for many issues are very similar and I don't have much experience growing yet and haven't developed an eye for things.

Any feedback from some experienced growers would be great!

Magnesium: Lower leaves turn yellow along the tips and margin and between the veins; the lower leaves wilt...

Nitrogen: Entire plant is light green in color; lower leaves are yellow; growth is stunted....

Mananese: Growth is stunted; lower leaves have a checkered pattern of yellow and green...

which one sounds most like your problem?

without pics i cant do much for you.

honestly, I think it sounds most like Magnesium. Any suggestions?
I will have pictures tomorrow when lights come back on....

if its mag mix 1 tbsp of epsom salt per gallon of water and water your plants with it. Epsom salts contains hydrated magnesium sulfate.

I read a threat that Fuji water helped or some type of super expensive mineral water... Anyways if you used this its supposed to help your plant get back to normal faster, using minerals or whatever is in the water (theoretically).

san pelligrino mineral water, but its like $50 for a 24 pack. it has like 4 times the cal/mag that the city of LA`s tap water has and i have never had a problem with my tap water and mag.

99% of the time its due to the lack of nitrogen, alot of people tend to think it's magnesium but mj gobble tons of nitrogen during flowering... How do you think the plant is gonna produce all the new growth in flowering. It's eating stored N from the fan leaves

I wish this theory of cutting nitrogen at flowering would just GO AWAY... There would be alot less problems during flowering if these SO CALLED experts at the food companies would quit telling people to cut N at flowering...

fuck all that shlt tell me what your lights are , most likely a lack of light reaching the lower branches so the kill them off because there is no use for branches that dont receive light its a waste of energy

TRUE TRUE but i'm still willing to bet its a N issue, If he cuts the lower branches and he isn't providing enough nitrogen then the plant will eat from other parts of the plant

My lights are 600W HPS w/ Digilux bulb. A lot of the leafs do appear to be not receiving a lot of light. Watered last night before lights off and added a shot of grow big which has N in it.
Will update again when lights go on today and see how they are ...

lol sorry man.. without pictures there's no real way to help you.

id say give them a nice fat feeding of some complete all purpose organic fertilizer (sheep/worm casting tea is what i use for N base)

Im on board with max on this.. I would give them a dose of N and see what happens. Also in the future more info about the grow and pics of the problem will get better answers. I do have 2 questions what type of water are you using Tap, R/O what? Also what nutes are you using and there NPK values?

@phishphan1995 I watered them last night before lights off with a shot of Grow Big added which is a veg nute so should have a good amount of N.
I havn't used any other nutes except a couple Grow Big doses during veg. Also fed them MycoStim a couple times and organic blackstrap molasses a couple times also.
My water is tap water, I let it sit for 24hrs before using.

I don't know the PPM, no meter
PH after nutes is around 6.0, then I add a little baking soda to get it up to 6.5
The soil is Nurseys Master Organic Potting Soil
Have not flushed

When it happens that fast your roots died. they sufficated , I garentee you that if you pull the plant and look at the roots they are all Brown and soft. should be white and ferm heathy looking. now what caused it???

This is the main reason I like MG Tomato and MG Bloom nutes for flowering, they have enough MG and Cal that I've never had a problem with it.
