yep, better off letting people go bankrupt, lose their homes, die in the streets, and get kicked off of their plan once they get sick.

that is the better plan for america.
LOL. Sounds like a great script for a hollywood disaster movie. Get to it. You might make enough money to get your family off welfare.

number 1 reason people went bankrupt in america?

a) poor people maxed out their credit cards buying mercedez benz'es and rolexes
b) middle class families bought themselves million dollar homes and yachts
c) a family member got sick and hospital and other health care costs were so high they had no choice but to declare bankruptcy so they'd have a little more time before the bank came and took their homes

take a guess jack

the idea of a family losing their home due to health care costs in any other wealthy nation is absurd. they laugh at the notion.

Last summer before this one I worked part time at the welfare office. I helped people fill out the online applications who were too damn stupid to figure it out. Most of them drove up in nice cars, smoked cigarettes, a lot of them had been drinking, most had tattoos, real nice clothes, etc. How much does a pack of cigs cost? How much for alcohol? Tattos? The fact is some people have their priorities screwed up and don't know how to take care of themselves. I used to be like that when I was young and dumb, but then I grew up. It's not my job as an American citizen to subsidize their stupidity or their lifestyle. If someone is really in need, then that is what we have welfare for, not to subsidize the idiots who blow their money on stupid shit.

i agree.

i apply for food stamps once a year. i don't use them, but qualifying for them saves me $160 on my medical card in oregon.

when i am there, i see a lot of people who probably use them as intended: the single mother taking care of her 4 unruly children, the homeless looking vet guy, bla bla bla.

but i always see the "gangster" in expensive clothes and jewelry playing around on their i-phone, the 18 year old skank with $20 of makeup on her face talking about how drunk they are going to get later that night....

i feel like shit for wasting their time once a year, but i feel better knowing that i never have to use them and end up canceling them 3 months later when they send me a request for income and i do nothing.

LOL. I filed for bankruptcy. The myth of hospital bills wiping people out is just that, a myth.
Do you just make shit up as you go or do you really believe what you write? Have a house with over $20,000 equity and you can say goodbye to that equity. Have a car worth more than $3500 same deal. Any money in the bank goes to the bankruptcy court. Not to mention a bankruptcy discharge does not remove a lien on property. And if you make over a certain amount you cannot file CH 7, you file CH 13 and debts are not discharged. You either had nothing to lose or you're just flat out lying.

Oh, go fuck yourself. You can file bankruptcy without losing a home you are paying on or your car because I was doing both. You're full of shit. I don't need to lie to take care of the misinformation and outright lies you and your pals spread around here. Take your fucking shit and shove it up your lying shitty lefty ass.

Maybe people wouldn't have to go bankrupt at a record setting pace, if we had a better president these past few years. There is no reason why the country should not be on a rebound right now. Much more would be possable with a better president... But lets go ahead and blame the people. Its thier fault. People should work harder for Obama. He needs money. Throw a fundraiser and Obama will show up early. Try to fix the economy and he will show up late. Too little, too late.

Apparently you do not have anything and never did, otherwise you would know what 'EQUITY' means.
