of course a lower wattage light will use less electricity, voltage doesnt change consumption, wattage does. its up to you, if you want to pinch a lil, switch lights as you go.

you mean amperage lol and yes your bill is run off wattage so the amperage of the light will not effect your bill. that t5 is definately less money than the 600 or even 400 i believe check wattage on it and compare

correction > if either the voltage or the amps increase the bill will in fact increase since
volts x amps = watts .. so either one increasing will increase the overall wattage resulting in a higher bill
it would seem that many here do not even have the basic grasp of something as simple as ohms law
