Wow this thread kicks ass I love the pics man! I keep thinkin next year big fat ones for me I hope!! Last two clones were pretty airy but very very sticky. My other clones are looking fatter. I am feeding them sea kelp some fish emulsion and general hydro ponics duo system. How can i get them so fat and sticky like yours? lol

Your on the right track. It takes sun, unlimited root space, water and love. That's it!
Feeding organically will bring out the sticky, gooey, dankness your lookin' for. Keep it up man, your on your way!

^^ have to agree with you wheezer everything comes out sticky for me no matter what strain. Also you can smell all the flavors while it is growing and again when dried and cured properly. dirrtyd

Beautiful plants, wheezer. I know I get a very positive feeling tending to my 1 plant that I have on my property, so I can imagine what kind of good vibe your girls give you. Very nicely done, and thanks for taking the time to photograph and post them.

One rookie question though: what's with the net draped over the plant? For support, I'm thinking, but how does it support them because I don't see the nets attached to anything. Also, I don't know about California, but in Canada, using nets to hunt is illegal. ho-ho.

:leaf: As simple as it may seem, this post is really helpful.:leaf:

I was using Miracle Grow: I'm trying to go organic this winter inside and outside in the greenhouse but I don't know what to use. I bought some Kellogs soil patio plus which is supposed to be organic and added perlite. I know I probably should spice it up a bit but I don't know what to exactly use with that base and didn't want to burn anything. The Kellogs soil seems to drain to fast and is a pain in the ass in pots indoors and the top dries out really fast. Why ? Or how can I fix ? So far I've only potted 4, 2 gallon plants in it.

Feeding: How long will just Alaskan fish fert 5-5-1 get me by indoors and out ? or what else do I use with it or when flowering time comes? I like the convienance of shelve products, don't have alot of time and tend to really screw things up when it comes to mixing things up. I tend to over do things :leaf: Sorry seems like a long post but it's really not.

I did find a cool local nursery that has all those additives you guys speak of.

Sorry, hope I'm not Intrudeing. 8)

No man your definitly not intruding, that's what this all about. Let's see if I can answer all you Qs... first, glad you rgetting away from miracle grow. I saw a grow a couple days ago that was absolutely georgeous, that was fed only MG. Thing is, that's waht MG is for...beautiful flowers!! That it does, but try to smoke a joint of that beautiful bud when it's done, and it prolly won't even burn and it damn sure ain;t gonna taste right I don't care how long you "flush" it.. 2nd, alaskan fish fert is good stuff, but you will need to add some macro-nutes to it eventually. It's hard to find macro nutes that 100% organic out of a bottle. There is a product line called Bio-Link, if you google it and see if they have a distributer anywhere near you, they have a bottled line organic nutes that's awesome, and I use their macro stuff, and the 3-3-3 and 0-5-5 they have. You could get some macro and 0-5-5 and your fish would get you all the way through for around 100 bucks, as long as you do't need more than a gallon of each for a season.
But you can talk to your local nurseryman there, and if you don't see what you want, ask thenm if theyt can order it for you, most nurseries will order special stuff for ya if you ask.
That soil you have, IDK without putting my hands in it, but you can add some sand, I think would slow down the drainage some wouldn't it? not really sure on that.

Thank Wheezer ! That helps alot! I will do some googleing and check the local nursery and Hydor store. Sounds like this is all I'll need and give her a shot at the organic end of it.

Thanks again for sharing the products to use and the NPK ratios. I got some Alaskan Fish fert yesterday to vegg on.5 5 1 I think it is. That stuff smells great !

YUP GOOD STUFF!! I recommended that to a guy in San Diego, and just that made him have plants twice as big this year. Plus it's all good organics so it won't screw up the taste.

IMG_0471.jpgIMG_0472.jpgHere's my SSH last year at the other garden. For some reason, they were thicker with leaves last year, and they clumped up real bad, and didn't finish in the middles on some, and bud rot ate the hell outta them. You can see the difference from last year. I'm real happy about the way it looks this yewar, the buds are just as big and fat and dense, but not as leafy, so they're gonna come out much better.....I can't wait, it's a beautiful strain.
I was looki at her real close yesterday, and I think it's gonna finish a little sooner than 2 weeks, I'm thinking 10 days or so now. Once that one comes down, I'll have a Juice done by thee time I finish trimming the SSH, so once it starts here in 10-14 days, it's not gonna stop for a WHILE!!
I'm going to a new doctor today, to get my wife and I both 99 plant scripts, good for 99 plants and 15 lbs. IT'S LEGIT TOO! I'll never have 100 plants, but I want to be covered on my clones and seedlings that I always have extras of around. This way, even if I get checked by an anal cop, they can't get me for having a tray of clones that are rooted, and count as 50 plants!! Don't worry, you will not see me growing 99 plants! too much work!!

My little brother called me yesterday afternoon, freakin' out, cause the worms had landed! He didn't spray for em' at all yet, so he got a nice infestation going on. I had 2 other growers report to me that they have more worms than ever right now on some of their plants.
It's making me nervous cause I still got a month to go on pretty much all my plants except 2 or 3, so I know they can pop up anytime. I've been inspecting over and over the last 2 days on both grows, and have only found as handful of small ones on the big grow. It looked like they fell in outta the oak trees cause I can't find any damage at all. Granted, I havn't seen the tops of some of em' in a while, but from what I can see, they're clean. I always every year, have some kind of problem or another, but so far this season, nothing that's going to effect the yield or quality has went wrong yet. ha....a month to go.....could I actually make it through a season?.....
