What's your opinion on spanking kids?

Well whatever you do, don't let you kid pull the wool over your eyes.

gfreeman cant agree more unless your kids a compleat idiot..hell learn that when i act up and dad yells at me and i keep doing it and he yells again then he spanks me,,and unless u dont give your children the attion they deserve u cant but just sit back and wait for them to act up in my expericance as a father if your alway in the middle of what their doing they have no reson to act up only kid that get negleted act up to the point that they need a beating lol....but yes i do belive i as a parent if i choose to give my child a swat i will but not with a wepon not like im trying to knock them in to next week just enuff to let them know that that aint cool you know ....................

nah, my mom always raised her hand and i was still a disrespectful little shit, probably worse so than i would have been otherwise. i remember when i realized i was stronger than her, that was a funny day. i threw a chair back at that bitch!! never again would i let her threats get to me. after that, i did whatever i wanted and completely ignored her "rules" haha. bitch. that's the path you spankers are headed down.

but you know what, my dad would never lift a hand and he is an angel in my eyes. my mom's an evil cunt. ask anyone know knows me. i would hate to feel the way i feel about my mom about my dad too. it's not that i hate her, i just have no respect for her and i think she was a bad parent.

its not the moms place to do that. or yeah thats what happens. I dare my son to even think of throwing sumthing at me when he gets older.
 
My mum used to threaten us with a wooden spoon, she never actually did use it on us but we were all so damn scared of that wooden spoon. LOL

i am a girl and my mom was alway the person who disciplined. my dad spoiled me rotten and would never in a millon years hurt us, he loved us way too much.

lol yeah that will happen. thats how my mom was raised. she was spoiled rotten. was on covers of magazines at 14. vouge and 17teen mag. spoiled rotten and her daddy wouldnt let anyone lay a finger on her. shes still a brat to this day. I love my daughter to death but I think i will have to spank her when she acts up. and shes wearing sweat pants tell shes 21
 
My childhood was a loooong time ago, but I think corporal punishment was much more in favor then than it is now. As I recall, it was more my mom who did the whippin'. She used a spatula lol. Occasionally my dad's belt came off too. The teachers had pretty much free reign too when it was called for.

2s and up, def spanking approved right here, i got spanked i didnt turn out to be a murderer and i didnt think my mother was abusing me. however if you wuith a group of people it should be done in private and not infront of everyone. all this bullshit today dont feed your kids this dont feed them cookies, dont give them spankings, dont take away their computers ect ect,,, fuck right off, i ate cookies, yeah thats right eat shit and when my mom told me 5 times to fucking stop something and i didnt i got a spanking.
