189 "heroes" died stealing your land from the spanish, who stole it from the native americans who lived there peacefully for thousands of years.

im proud to be a texan...............................
why? That's like saying you're proud to be white. What did you do to become a texan? Besides let your parents get there fuck on in the lone star state.
why us texans kick ass...............................i kick ass, what else is there to say
you all sure didn't kick ass at the alamo. Lol.
But really, i realized i'm the only one replying to this thread, and even i don't really care, so now i'll just watch it die and get buried.

Remember that king Of the hill episode about the alaml
what we did to the indians is fucked up...........it's like one of my relatives told me once, "if we were the savages the white men portrayed us to be, they never would have gained a foothold on this continent." yes the "white man" won, but how they won it is shameful. The u.s. Has it's own holocaust history. Many tribes no longer exist. Religions and traditions were wiped out. Children were forcibly removed from their families by the truck loads (many died and were abused on a daily basis in boarding schools). They were taught to hate their own language, customs, people. My own mother was beaten and shaved (a terrible thing to do to native americans). She was taught the piano with a cane. To this day she will not touch a piano.
